One of the most annoying players in recent years. Act like a whiney twat all the time and fall down quite easily.

He needs to get his shit together. He's let the racists win, which is a shame because racism is completely unacceptable, but ever since the Atleti fans last year began racially abusing him and hanging him in effigy over a bridge or whatever it was, he's been a liability when Real has played games in that stadium. He played an awful game, bitched at the referee constantly (which got him booked, which meant he couldn't foul Griezmann later on the sequence leading to the winning goal), and he's trying to shit talk Simeone and be cool when he was probably the biggest reason Real didn't have the chance to win the game in the regulation 90 (missed an absolute sitter earlier in the game after Bellingham hit the cross bar).

He's getting dangerously close to the territory of "If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole.", assuming of course he isn't there already.

Osasuna with a goal of the year candidate.

I guess he wanted to cross and end up scoring without much angle.

I've only been watching the Madrid v Almeria match for 15 minutes and so far

- VAR gives Madrid a penalty for a handball by a player being fouled from behind
- VAR takes away an Almeria goal because their player tapped Bellingham in the neck and he went down like he was kicked in the face
- VAR gives Madrid a goal scored with an arm

it should have been 1-3. It's clear something strange happened with the ref & Florentino in the HT

Michel?
The Real Madrid guy?

Alonso depends. He'll want to coach Real and that may kill his chances

No, there are 2 Michel's
The Madrid and Getafe one, which is the bad one, and the Rayo Vallecano and Girona one. If Barça goes after the second one it makes sense. Xabi Alonso will end up in Real Madrid.

Girona Michel.

Alonso wants but Ancelotti just extended plus Raul lurking behind as well.

He’s not RM, born in the capital but different path. He’s the flavor of the day but unlikely he’d be in the mix as a potential successor to Xavi due to his limited experience & coaching success vs say someone like Imanol

I think the selection criteria will be heavily weighted towards experience & personality to transmit their ideas onto pitch. Primera experience likely to be key as well

There’s also the possibility that a replacement coach might come in two phases - immediate option followed up by longer term option in summer, i.e. Rafa Marquez from B team

I think Xabi ends up in Madrid beginning in '25/'26. Carlo signed a new deal but I don't expect that he'll last the entirety of it. It would benefit Xabi another year with Leverkusen and having a CL campaign before stepping into the fire at Madrid. He's in his early 40s, he has time to be patient.

And what experience Xavi Hernandez had? they trusted him only because he was playing there as a player.

A little difficult to make a conclusion, as from this angle it doesn't look like a handball. Vini may be a cunt but nobody could match Barca's behaviour. Some of the biggest cunts in football's history came out of their club.

I mean, a club like Barca cannot act a victim or talk about manners. Pieces of shite.

That doesn't mean Real are saints either. I literally dislike all Spanish teams lol.

he chose the angle that suits him. it was clear handball.

It depends from which angle you're referring, and honestly it doesn't look like a blatant handball tbh. Remember Adriano's goal vs Milan? It was kind of similar though.

Just a random example how goal stood although could have been canceled. To be completely honest, Vini's goal looks more legit than this one of Adriano, although I may be wrong because I didn't care analysing Real Madrid's goal. Could be a referee mistake, but yeah, both Barca and Real Madrid have been manipulating the league historically.

Even if it's not blatant, handball is handball. Just like gagliardini's handball.
