I can see Ibrahimovic playing with either Crespo and Adriano with no trouble. Adriano, Crespo won't work for me as Adriano can hardly set up goals.

Thats a pretty messed up pole.

What is I think Recoba should start? Or Cruz? And how about an option for current most in form strikers

This poll = homo.

Then what do have do with Ronaldo? Maybe put him instead of Adriano on the bench and again start a thread about starting strikers and then someone like you come and suggest sell him and at last we we have no Adriano and no Ronaldo!!!
You obviously haven't seen who I voted for..

If Adriano is in my lineup, than its more than clear that if we swap him with Ronaldo, I want Ronaldo in starting lineup..

The mercenary duo of Ibra-Crespo would probably be my first choice. I'd love for Adriano to re-discover his form but it's been too long since he looked good and we can't afford to pamper him this season. Either he starts scoring or he won't play; simple as that.

I agree, Zlatan and Crespo should be the starting duo.

And as Hamed named earlier then it can be dangerous to constantly playing Adriano, this became clear last season when his form went from bad to worse, and at this point it doesn't seem like he is going to improve. So benching him and then sub him in doing the matches might be the way to get him back on track.

And another reason for benching him is that we can't compete if we have to play a striker who isn't able of scoring and who often plays so badly that it's like playing with 10 men.

And at this point Ibra and Crespo do seem like they are beginning to get back on track after their horrendous last season, which isn't really the case with Adriano who has been pore for 1½ season now. and therefore they should be in front of him in the picking order, but unfortunately I don't see our coach have enough courage to Bench Adriano.

I voted for Adri-Zlatan simply because when on form those are the two best options. However if the season started tom I would be rooting for Hernan and Ibra as those two seem the only ones capable of getting the job done out there right now.

As for what Mancini is going to do it is a mystery but if it were me I would give Adir and Ibra a try out for about 3-4 Serie A games. If Adri continues to suck bench him for a month and put Crespo in there to take care of it. Adri can come off the bench or whatever until he gets his form back cause I dont think continuing to play him while in poor form for 2 staright seasons makes much sense.

The only problem with this plan is the schedule the first few games of the season are clutch and IMO could make or break our season depending on the results. Mancini has one tough decision ahead of him, lets hope he makes the right one.

Why Recoba - Adriano wasn't good??? Recoba provides nice assists just as Ibra does!!!
This all due to Recoba's injuries??

Tempted for Crespo and Zlatan but I think Adri and Zlatan for now then Hamed should refresh this poll in mid season, then by the end of the season again, that's the perfect way!! :p

I agree with Marti, Adriano is not a player who set up goals. Despite his good tehnique, he is a striker, goal scoring striker, not SS.

He loves to be inside, he said so, but Mancio's tactics dectate otherwise and that's why he can't perform

But why not try with Crespo. And then give our flanks the goal and see what happens in the area. I think that Crespo Adri could work. But we must try then judge not saying blindly. Crespo and ADri maybe couldcompliment ech other. I would try if i am coach. Maybe even with all three. But then Figo must be on bench. Because we can affor his lack of defense.

Do we really need..

Do we really need Adriano and Ibrahimovic??

Look in the last game against Spartak Recoba and Cruz played better than both of them combined. Yes they are big names yes they are very talented but look Adri hasn`t scored a goal in over 200 days and Ibra hasn`t been playing well or instead of playing he was fighting with the Catania player Sottil. In my eyes in Ibra I think we threw away 24 million cause until now I haven`t been impressed yes sometimes you can see some magic from him but I want to see goals. And Adriano is playing as if he doesn`t care anymore I think that in January its time to say farewell to Adri we need players who play not players who sell shirts. We`re almost like Real no let me rephrase we are exactly like Real we just buy we don`t build a team and lately I am not too happy with these performances. Also I`m disappointed with another big name and that`s Vieira we bought him for 9.5 million and we got Dacourt for free Dacourt is playing way better. We shouldn`t have went overboard in the transfer market and the sale of Pizarro was a very big mistake cause in the pre season he was playing well and he looked to have settled. And another thing that worries me is the lack of balls Mancini has to bench a big name last season he was doing it with Adri and this season with Ibra come on just play people who play for the shirt they are wearing and not for the cheques they`re recieving. Most teams in Europe have players who they raised from when they were just kids the last guy we had like thatwas Giuseppe Bergomi let`s stop buying and start thinking.

The demerits of players are never evaluated after a single performance. Conversely the merits of players can no be assessed after one game. Sure Cruz and Recoba did really well today but one can hardly count on them to produce that kind of stuff day in day out, especially Recoba.

I do agree that something needs to be done about the strikers but shipping Adriano and Zlatan out in january would be disasterous. Furthermore I really cant see how you can judge Ibra's performances based soley on a month and a half with the team. I mean the guy hasnt even had 10 official appearences for the team, to call him a lost cause at this point would be very pre-mature.

Adriano on the other hand doesnt seem like we will ever see those glory days again, I'll give him till Christmas to get his shit together.

We do need Ibrahimovic, but not Adriano.

Great game by Recoba yesterday, but his injuries forced Inter to buy players like Ibrahimovic over the 10 years he spent in Inter.

And Cruz is always there when the team needs him, nothing new about that.

I`m looking at it from a slightly different point of view, I think that we need every single striker in our team, the heat of the inside competition between those high class players would be the main motivation (if not the only) to see eachone of them trying his best to score and to help his team mates to win a game, this is how the coach plus his team mates would put thier trust in him and show thier confidence.. every single striker that we have is fighting the another to gain this trust and confidence, I think that`s something good for the team.
Yesterday after Cruz scored the second goal the ran towards Recoba and not Cruz, not because he assisted the goal but because he translated a team work into something that can a goal can be scored from, ths is something no one else did before him.. now we will see next game when (ofcourse) Mancini plays Ibra with Crespo or Adriano or Cruz.. we will see Ibra playing as hell cause now he knows that he isnt the only one that we will depend on and that there is an extrem competition on his place (as a suport striker) and he will lose his place as a starter for a better choice if he did not do well... and so on..

I think that having that much of great FWs has its pretty effective advantages.

I apologise about the Ibra bit he doesn`t deserve to go I was a bit too harsh but on Adriano come on we`ve taken too much from his lacklustre performances I would love it if he comes back to his Imperatore days I use to believe that he can but now after this large inconsistency he really should be dropped permanently. Yes and I was too hasty about Ibra but his last 2 performances have been a lot to be desired. Right now the strikers really playing are Recoba, Cruz and Crespo and I think Ibra should go on the bench for a while until he comes back to his best because Ibra`s performances were very disappointing lately and that is what pisses me off sometimes about Mancini he doesn`t have the balls to let a player know when he is playing bad and put him on the bench. But hell don`t get me wrong I like Ibra and wish the best years of his career will be at Inter maybe I expected too much from him. But for Adri its now or never..
