I don't know how reliable that site is when they are dealing with foreign transfers, but as Svennis and that magazine share the same country I see that rather reliable.

There isn’t much reliability in any of their sources because they don’t mention any names but rather call is “a trustworthy source” from Inter have told us this and that.

First of all it says that Inter don’t want the news to leak into media as they want to keep everything quiet. Apparently Gazzetta had reported this issue earlier this year and that our representatives haven’t contacted Sven out of respect for his contract with the FA.

It says that Inter have been waiting for Sven’s WC adventure to be over and then bring him to our club a new club director. They believe that although Sven would like to coach another big European club yet he might find this new role as more challenging. This also allows him to work under less pressure as opposed to being the coach.

It also says that one of our players have apparently said that Sven didn’t seem to keen on the daily training sessions while at Lazio and that Mancini was the one who took charge. It talks about the obvious link of him and Mancini being good friends since their Samp and Lazio days and that they will meet when Sven goes back to Italy for holiday!

Further it mentions that Inter are happy that England did not win the WC because then we would have more competition to sign him as all the big clubs would be after him says a Milano source! Having spent 4 years in the UK both Sven and Nancy are keen to move back to Italy. It also says that Inter will probably become the solely superpower in Italian football as both Juve and Milan could face relegations.

SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON could be left out in the cold after his sorry departure as England manager.

England boss Eriksson has been sounded out by South Africa about becoming their manager for the 2010 World Cup - but his sky-high wage demands caused a furious row in a country where the average league player gets £10,000 a year.

Inter Milan are keen on Eriksson, whose £5m-a-year wages will be paid by the English FA until July 31. But they want him as a general manager rather than coach.

What a disaster for us if he comes to Inter! Why would we want this incompetent buffon anywhere near our club, he would destroy it. I dont want him as a coach, director, manager or even someone who cleans the boots or toilets.

The mans personal life is a complete farse (affairs and stichups) and he brings a lot more trubble than good.

IMO he will struggle to get a job anywhere. Wages are too much and he is very overated and overall (exception of 5-1 Germany) has had no good results for England. He did well at Lazio but he spent so much money on all these players.

I agree that he's not a good coach, but he has good knowledge of players so I do like the idea of having him as a director.

I thought this one was one of the wild rumors, but please say it ain't so!

I hope the 'Mancini doesn't need buddies' club won't argue that this one has nothing to do with Mancini and favouritism. Why the heck do we need another boyfriend now?

And this guy isn't a professional, what a mess he had (affairs, being caught saying stupid stuff for a fake journalist) back in England.

Not to mention that he is the father of favouritism, flat 4-4-2 and lack of imagination! Fark off man.

Wheter or not it's trustworthy or not I don't know, but Aftonbladet is one of the biggest Swedish newspapers there is. Furthermore, I don't feel so strongly against Svennis as director. In the end, it's Mancini who will coach and pick out the team. Svennis has won trophies and a lot of knowledge on the way. He knows a lot about football and surely has contacts that could prove useful. Most of you seem to judge him as a coach, not the position he would be hired in at Inter.

We'll see, firstly, how trustworthy this is, secondly, if it happen at all.

Not being a prick, but those weren't major trophies. Coppa Italia's, a UEFA cup, a Cup Winners' cup and a Scudetto are great, but not that great!

And not taking anything away from him, that Lazio he won the only major trophy with, was a squad had talent coming out of it's arse.

And not saying they didn't deserve it (they deserved it 200%) that season Juve were forced not to cheat and let Lazio win because I remember Cragnotti threatening to reveal secrets if Juve won it all. Man, I wish he did it back then! Also, thank heavens for opening up that day!

Again, not taking anything away from Lazio, but Eriksso isn't one of those great soccer personalities with an impressive CV.

And why didn't we even try to get Baldini? Looks like he is heading to Real. I think we had a chance to get him after he rejected Juve (the fact that he even considered Juve showed that he was desparate for a job.)

But I guess we have a policy against hiring smart transfer people.

Eriksson has a lot of knowledge, and this is why I wonder why everyone are so sceptical. That being said, I don't have that much belief in this.

I think Zenga is a manager of a team in Romania/Bulgaria right now, but I think one day he will be our manager. He is just learning the ticks of the trade right now.

I agree with you more club legends should be more involved in the club like Fachetti is now. If sge came here, all he would care about is his paycheck at the end of the month, and he wouldn't rely give a damm about Inter

I also read about this, but on Sky Sports news.

Apprently Moratti has always been fond of Sven, and would have happy to have him aboard.
