Well, their team is working well together and they are united.
Ukraine has an out-of-form Shevchenko, who is like a dictator on the field, demands all balls to be played to him and Blokhin is a coward coach.

The team factor will make Swiss advance...at least that's what I believe.

It is a very hard game to predict. I think Schwitzerland will win though. They will surely miss senderos but player by player i think they are stronger. I think Ukraine were horrible against Tunesia (dubious penalty) and Spain. Saudi Arabia was absolutely awful and so you really can't derive to much from Ukraines 4-0 win. Schwitzerland was very convincing in their group matches even though two of the three teams were pretty weak.

Yeah..the most unattractive match of all..Unlike most of you, I think Ucraine will go through..They had a very bad start against in-form Spain, but have rosen since..Shevchenko is getting back in form and don't forget that he doesn't need a lot, one chance and there you are..

Swiss, proved to be tough team..to finish group stage infront of France is a very positive thing, they seem very confident, maybe they lack some class..Generally, very strong team without stars..

And this after they played the better match then the Ucraine.
But i somhow knew that Streller is gonna mis his penatly wich was decesive.

Anyway i m still proud of what they ve done in this WC

I'm glad the Swiss are gone, because they are clearly a better team than Ukraine. Ukraine should be easy pickings ( Ukraine couldn't even complete simple passes ) for Italy. Oh yes, I can feel the glory..........

If Italy had to face Switzerland, I would be genuinely worried.

What a piss poor match. Neither team showed any real quality. I was very happy to see shevchenko miss his penalty. Where have I seen that before? Can members of the forum please help refresh my memory.

Also Switzerland's PK's were the worst i've ever seen. My god its like they've never kicked a soccer ball before.

I switched channel for at least 45 mins of this game then went back to watch the pens

Was pretty obvious there were going to be no goals, hell of a boring game!

and at Sheva missing a pen again, shame that it wasn't a costly mistake!!

I didn't watch the game at all. I ended up recording it but when I went to watch I thought to myself "wait a minute, it's Ukraine vs. Switzerland!"
