I thought Mr Robot started very well and started to get a little stale towards the end. I think a big part of it is whether you pick up on the twist before it happens or not. I did and therefore when it came it was very anticlimactic.

Pretty sure a lot of people expected it. Wish they did a better job at masking it beforehand.

DAMN RIGHT. SEASON 2 IS COMING!!! I'm not sure how they gonna proceed with season 2 though since there's not a lot of story left to be told regarding Escobar unless they continue with other drug lords. Wish they stretched season 1 a bit more so we'd have more for season 2.

Also, has anyone seen Halt and Catch Fire? Saw episode 1 last night, seems pretty interesting.

I wouldnt necessarily focus on Escobar, but rather, move through the 'history' of drugs, and onto the next big things with Mexican cartels, I guess, and starting to describe the evolution over the last 20 years of how they got to be where they are. Then season 3 you can focus on the last 5 years, with a lot of take downs of large drug lords and stuff.

I'm talking about the cartels that came after Escobar but before the current guys. It seems to me to be the natural next step in the story. The void left behind after Escobar and the people who fill itm then you look at the escalating violence in Mexico etc as they are replaced by even bloodier people

But yea it's a good idea to do it on other drug lords, doesn't have to be the same characters. Something like True Detective or Fargo, where the seasons didn't or barely connect with each other.

I thought about watching Vikings to get me through this days until the derby. So i downloaded season 1 and i started watching today, now i am finished with season 1 and i am downloading season 2...FFS i'm afraid i would finished season 3 till tomorrow and there will be 2 more days until kick off. :fffuuu:

I'm a little skeptical about the idea of Narcos without Escobar because Wagner Moura for me is a huge part for why I love the show. However, based on my knowledge of Escobar there is still a fair amount of story to tell.

Finished the first season of Better Call Saul over the weekend. Top show, I really enjoyed it. I think it's laid the platform for some crazier things to happen in the second season, much like Breaking Bad did in its opener.

Now I'm back on to the second season of The Sopranos. Tony is the man. I wish I could swear like him.
