The guy was SITTING IN A CAR when he was shot...!
"you" as in who??the police?u mean the lazio fan wanted to kill the cop??whatever he wanted to do nobody has the right to kill him.okay,so they were having a fight,u as a cop stop the fight, ban them or dunno what, but don't f**** shoot him...misfired??wtf is that?u shoot a warning shot in the AIR no towards someone...i'm not stupid and i think it's cristal clear that that wasn't an 'accident"...
I agree the whole 'warning shot' sounds riduclous, however its possible the police officer shot the man with the intention to harm him (and protect himself), but not kill him. Says its some rookie cop who's never been confronted before, no amount of training is going to prepare you for that type of enivornment. You say a guy coming at you (maybe he's got a weapon) in a rage, first thing you do is pull out your gun an blam. The whole thing is a blur, but you did what you did to protect yourself. However, cops are getting in $hit all the time for 'excessive force' (and in reality, if the rest of Italy found out that thats what happened, there would be riots at every game), so they pass it off as an accident.
As I said before though, the issue isnt the cops. Its the morons who decided to fight. The attacked a small group of Juve fans, this wasnt an organised clash. If two groups of fans organise a time and a place to go at it, then let them. If they get hurt (or, God forbid, killed) its their own fault. They know what they're getting themselves into. However, attacking a group of travelling fans (who, from reports, were minding their own business) is bull$hit. There could have been women, children or unsuspecting families amoung the fans who had no intention of fighting anyone, but wanted to support their team.
