Well... I understand that you and many people liked and maybe still like Cannavaro.
Yesterday, I tried to put myself in your situation, and I was infuriated with (myself).
I realised that you´re either fans of him or you rate him much higher than I do in several areas.
If I was in your position I would be out of my mind too. Believe me, that´s like getting a stone thrown at your head. So I guess you had all that anger build up inside you. And well as I understand it was by mistake let mostly out on me?
Sometimes it´s hard to be Interista. And I understand that. Afterall I am one too. Your anger towards me the last couple of days actually brings out a positive side of you, believe it or not. Your passion for Inter.
Still no matter if I think he is a traitor and you don´t I would like this forum to be a place where you could disagree. And do it in a friendly manor. That´s more fun than when friends like us are arguing, eh?
So I urge you and everybody else to try and debate instead of arguing. I may have been too "agressive" by posting my article too soon and changing my signature and all. But I kinda feel it is my right as a fan. I was pissed of too, you know. Just with Cannavaro, mostly.
I know I often disagree with virtually everyone. In this case I disagreed over Canna. And I don´t know if it was in you anger Tommi, and possibly others who were angry with me too, but you misunderstood me completely. You really did.
What I have learned from this is that when people are very pissed off and angry perhaps even sad it is hard to really try and tell people your theories because they are so angry.
So if you are a little more calm now than before I would like to tell all of you guys who possibly misunderstood me:
I think Cannavaro is a traitor because of three things: I never felt he gave his 100% on the pitch. For whatever reason he was never on top and I feel he could have done much more to be better for us. So I kinda think he only was here for the money and the free drinks. Then when it was time to cut the salaries he decided not to cut them in Inter, but in Juventus. The club I hate most in the world. Furthermore I didn´t think he had the right attitude; saying "I would love to go to Juve", that is bad attitude that the youngsters looking up to him might breed themselves. Finally I think he only cares about one team besides NT: Napoli. He doesn´t even love Juve I suspect. He wanted to team up with former teammates and Ferrara from Napoli.
Davids: I think he is true Interista because he immediately did his best for us and kinda showed the attitude that
I expect from our players.
Hope you understand where I stand, since it would be a shame to make such a silly misunderstanding ruin all our friendships.
Like Yopi said: It is not like it´s a special situation when I disagree with everyone. Instead of seeing it as an offense (which it isn´t) you should just, you know, don´t have a clue what I´m thinking. Like you used to do. I have always said: If I can give people a laugh by posting my opinions then I am happy to do that.
From the bottom of my heart: I hope others feel like Tommi, and if you do, please post it so that we can be friends again. It´s never fun when friends are not friends. I hope you feel the same way.
Just because you let off some steam on me doesn´t mean that I will hold a grudge on you forever.
In fact I´m a very forgiving guy.
See, already forgiven Tommi.
And please don´t post your... uhm... remorse about your let´s see unfortunate burst of anger towards me before you feel so.
Otherwise we might misunderstand each other again.
I don´t wanna address anything to any specific person since there were so many who got pissed with me. But I really hope we can become friends.
It seems my theory was right... At least Tommi is an example of a decent guy who spoke right from his heart: And look what happened. We´re friends again... At least I see it that way.
We disagreed over something and for some reason got to be not friends with each other for a while. One overreacted, another might have spoken out too loud in a wrong time although he has the right to do it. These things happen, but in the end we´re all Nerazzurri brothers and sisters, eh?
Also to clear up another misunderstanding: When I said "The truth is like a sword" it was a quote from a TV Series called Buffy that I thought you had seen. So I thought you got the joke.
Did you honestly think I considered myself some kind of great God who had the truth?
