EA have really fucked up the vp this year (my favourite mode in fifa12), not being able to play your vp in the arena, in exhibition matches and that it's tied to a specific offline career mode, also I haven't been able to change my age as it appears to be locked so I'm like 18 again (fuck that shit), it's a real shame as FIFA 12 nailed the offline vp, and FIFA 13's gameplay is fucking brilliant, as well as the new animations and feel of the game which leaves me torn

Simple solution is to become a professional footballer and wait for the January transfer update.

Started up a career last night with a created VP... waiting for Inter to become interested but then pull out because the VP doesn't have the right characteristics.

What kind of pack is the one you get for playing that tutorial match on Ultimate Team? My EAFSC wasn't signed in so I had to leave Ultimate team, sign in, come back and it was gone.

I got my first gold pack though so that's alright.

dont know, i didnt get a tutorial but they are ussually sent to the store where u can open them

I checked the store it only said 'pre-order' pack, which turned out to be a gold pack.

I'm pretty sure that's my 1st of the 24 gold packs for the ultimate team. On the tutorial it let you pick one of the five players to captain a team saying who you choose impacts your starter squad so I choose Marchisio out of him, Messi, Hart, Benzema and one of the BVB players. I took it to mean I'd get a Serie A style bronze starter squad and I was right.
