I think we're not that far away from the heir of Massimo taking over our club. Probably Massimo is waiting for the CL success, and then maybe couple more years, but deffinetly this moment is coming...

In December AngeloMario was given as much power in the club as the Massimos and Ghelfis have themselves. He was vice-president, but only now he became EXECUTIVE vice president, which means a lot of power.

They are the only ones in the power right now to sign contracts for example (thus far only Massimo and Ghelfi could do that).

So anyways here is Angelomario Moratti, 36 year old oldest son of Massimo Moratti:

If anyone had doubts over the passion for the collors of our future owner, I point them to the 2:45 of this video:

Angelomario Moratti alongside his father

MILAN - Angelomario Moratti, the son of Massimo Moratti, alongside his father at the head of Inter. The board of the club Inter appointed the son of the owner of Inter Executive Vice President, granted all the powers of ordinary and extraordinary administration already belonging to the father.

As explained source of the whole, the Board has decided to give one of two vice-presidents (the other is Rinaldo Ghelfi) the status and powers of executive vice president. A choice that has fallen on the largest of five children of Moratti and has the flavor of an actual appointment.

Among other Angelomario can exercise the most important powers of directors not only in another state (as in the case of incapacity of the father) but also jointly (that is an alternative to the father). The rest remains the same organization, with the confirmation of the managing director Ernesto Paolillo and the management committee, composed of the same Paolillo and the two vice-presidents.

The "promotion" of Angelomario was decided in the last Board of Governors of the Inter Club, which met on 3 December after the end of October that the House approved the budget.

Current owner:

Massimo Moratti

Massimo is the fourth son of Angelo Moratti, who was owner and president during Inter's golden age from 1955 to 1968. He has five children. It has long been Massimo's ambition to restore Inter to the heights they once knew under his father. He has won one UEFA Cup (1998), four Scudetti/Serie A (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009), two Coppa Italia (2005, 2006), and three Supercoppa Italiana (2005, 2006, 2008).

However, Inter has since clinched the 2006-07, 2007-08, and 2008-09 Serie A titles, with an impressive run of 17 consecutive victories, a record that stands among other top European league competitions.

Moratti has spent around €300 million in the transfer market, exceeded only by Roman Abramovich of Chelsea. There have been nine coaches under his ownership, the last coach being Roberto Mancini, who was fired from his post in late May 2008 after winning three consecutive domestic championships. [1] In July 1999, Moratti sanctioned a then world-record €48 million purchase of striker Christian Vieri and has since purchased numerous superstars, including Ronaldo, Maicon, Adriano, Hernán Crespo, Roberto Baggio, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Luís Figo, Patrick Vieira, Samuel Eto'o, Wesley Sneijder and Juan Sebastián Verón.

Luka, maybe you should expand this thread and cover all Morattis. It is certainly a dynasty under them.

I wonder how wealthy Massimo is and how his wealth would be divided between his sons.

If Massimo is the fourth son, it must mean that at least one of his siblings is quite richer than he is/was(talking about when he took over)

Hopefully this time the success will come faster through the Moratti, as it's probably gonna be a clear inheritance this time!

P.S: Massimo has gone through a lot in Italy. He heard every kind of bad mouthing possible from our own fans, for mistakes he made, things they thought he could have avoided/fixed and things out of his reach!

P.S2: Does Angelomario need to BUY the club from his father by legal means? Or can he inherit it? If it's the first and it's going to be tough on taxation etc, then perhaps the Benetton brothers or Armani might give it a go...

If Moratti family are idiots, then Galliani and Berlusconi surnames will become a synonym for serious mental disorders.

Like a banned person.

Insulting Moratti on this board is not treated lightly.

Jose and Blanca et al are forming a strong, balanced team for us. I would keep Jose at Inter at least for a couple of years to complete his mission. However, Morati proved to be an impatient boss. Besides kicking out Mancini, he is famous of firing several good coaches in the past. Hope that he does not repeat this again and avoid the fatal mistake when the russian owner of Chelsea made when he kick out Jose from Chelsea. From then, Chelsea did not have any silverware. Even the PL title this year is not for sure when MU sold Ronaldo and become much weaker.

All Suneet is saying, is that Moratti you speak of, is not Moratti of 2010, but Moratti of 2000.

Moratti is not that man anymore, who hired coach every season, and wanted to have 30 players in the team.

ps. Firing Mancini was in consequence to his CL outburst. He lost his controll over the team, and Moratti sacking him was imminent.

Humm, I agree that Mancini is not a good example of Moratti's impatience. But I am still not convinced that he changed his mind a lot since 2000. Maybe he is more experienced president now. Some bad matches or negative events which can not be avoided, then he can be in action again, just like Chelsea's owner.

Whether the reason for it is experience, or changed personality, or the corn-flakes he eats in the morning, is not important.

The point is, he is not behaving the same way he did 10 years ago.

that goes without saying, everyone knows Berlusconi has few screws loose upstairs and Galliani is just his puppet.
