A rather interesting idea

The Nerazzurri created a television show in Argentina to find the new Maradona or Messi.

Reality shows have no boundaries and lack of of imagination, as the latest idea comes from a renowned football team: Inter.

The Italian club have in fact produced a reality show for children between 13 and 17 years of age, where a talent scout, Griffa, who had discovered Valdano and Batistuta in the past, will choose the winner.

The prize? He will be signed by Inter and have the opportunity of becoming a star in Serie A.

So far 700 young aspirants have registered their names, but only one will manage to win.

errm...how about doing the proper thing and sending some decent scouts?
any scout with half a footballing brain saw the talent Aguero had, Atletico decided to splash the dough, Inter didn't, and now Atletico are getting the rewards.

Anyways, with our case, we would probably use this youngster in a match where the first-team members are out injured or suspended and he'll impress the f*ck out of Interisti but as soon as the first-teamers are back, he'll be back on the bench, his contract rescinded, he signs for another club and becomes a star there.

Great idea, we will get publlicity, all that is small steps to come on level of Real,Barca and Man utd. I suportt that kind of marketing tricks, and maybe we get some great tallent.

I don't think we'll have much success with this show. I haven't seen the show but I can judge by the fact that only one winner will be selected from this competition that this will be just a circus contest where the player with the most spectacular showboat will be awarded the victory. We are either ignoring the possibilities of discoviering an unearthed diamond of a defensive player or stupidly looking for the most all-rounded player. They should have 4 winners from this show instead of 1, each winner represents the best player of each general positional department.

Let's just hope that my usual skepticism will fail me on this one.
