How do you manage?

I used to take this very seriously when I was younger. When you get older you can saw things differently.

But I still have passion about Inter games. For example when Eriksen made that perfect shot with his left foot in very difficult ball I was celebrating. :)

what did you guys think was the existence of Inter? did you guys fall in love with inter because of their war on gender representation or because of their fight to end slavery?

get off your high horses you probably started rooting for Inter because of fat ronaldo. Talking about traditions, pff gtfo. It's a football club with bills to pay.

Becoming a fan of a club because of a high-profile and well-known player >>>>>> vehemently celebrating because a club's financial bottom line looks good.

beats going bankrupt.

also now it makes a lot more sense why a lot of broadcasting deals were complicated the past year or so. We should be very happy we are in this new league.

I have exact opposite view of things and life. As Im getting older and I know what things I love and care about and I try to nurture that feeling/passion till I die!

I also have learned that I have a voice and I can influence many things in life and its my duty to go against this ”mafia” who now try to destroy football as we know it! I hope we still have more people here who try to do something about this shit and protest and send emails... anything you can!

I can rest when I lay in my grave and then be passive :)

Usually, I try to respect all opinions but just shut the fuck up dude. Your statement is:

1. Unsubstantial
2. Unethical
3. Offensive to other Inter fans who actually have some moral values

Thanks in advance and fuck off

Spoiler alert we aren't winning the Super League any time soon and we're going to be the whipping boys of City/Real etc.

All of your posts lack substance. You guys sound like 80 year old grandfathers and none of your statements are grounded on reality. The heart of the matter is that WE ARE BROKE.

I did not advocate for anything bad for it to be unethical ( i have yet to see an argument how all of this is unethical), and what moral values?

Are we opening up a salt mine to exploit 9 year olds to fund our transfers? what is unethical about the super league?

Don't you know it's unethical to sell your house for the market valuation of 1mil? The majority of people here would rather donate it to the homeless for free. It is the ethical thing to do here of course

Strawman fallacy at its best.

How is it strawman? You have not put forward a single notion on why this is 1. Unsubstantial? 2. Unethical? 3. Offensive to moral values?

the greed to sell your house for money, the neighborhood won't stand for such vile offensive things such as generating income so you can do better things with the raise in income.

URGH it makes me sick

If we believe in neoliberalism, the founding principle of ESL, then those entities which are broke should die from bankruptcy. The free market puts the burden of responsibility on those participating in the system, not the system itself, so if you go broke, it is your own fault. It works both ways.

If you want to put ethics and moral values in the bin, we must speak about how a team survives in a cutthroat free-market environment. ESL can be the key to financial salvation but, equally, it is a free-market economy; you must find a way to overcome the obstacles stopping the ESL from becoming a reality. Neoliberalism is about unrestricted freedoms; but that includes the freedom to decry and obstruct such a system from becoming reality. And so far participants in the ESL are not winning this debate.

And yes, the story of Inter as the club that broke away from Bbilan to accept those of all nationalities was an important factor in supporting this club; a club founded on the principle of inclusivity. Which has now put in the bin.

It's not as black and white. Perez making some really good points. Uefa earn a fucking ton of money and disclose none of it.
Uefa fucked us and other italian teams and stoof with their dicks in their hands at City, psg etc breaking FFP Jon stop.
I'm not pro superleague, but I'm not pro uefa either. The clubs should be getting more cut of the pie rather than loading uefa coffers.

teams willingly entering into an equal partnership, to form a breakaway league (which they own) from some beurocratic, corrupt, centralized horrible organisation is not in itself un'neoliberal (never thought id word it that way).

Yes, I agree with that basic principle. There is nothing wrong with a breakaway if its value proposition is purely to break the chain of corruption and promote more equal wealth distribution throughout the football ecosystem.

Unfortunately, that's not what this is. To create a system that helps break a chain of corruption, you must include teams of all backgrounds and levels of economic prosperity.

Pimpin, I think we need a box of cigars and a glass of whisky. We are now debating across multiple threads. And I don't think we even have opposite points of views in all areas, only some. But the only way to flesh this out is after a few drinks and a couple of Romeo y Julietas. Does FIF have a smoking lounge? :brozo:

I'm reading your debate and it's getting a bit confusing because of the multiple threads  It is interesting though

you were the first one that put forward a decent argument, that this is rewarding teams that lack fiscal discipline and I agree on that one.

Yes absolutely, I also saw you were from Edinburgh, best time of my life there. A cohiba siglo II over some fine aged scotch would do me wonders rn tbh.

I have honestly felt mildly sick since this news broke. I know it sounds dramatic but it's like a big part of my identity has been ripped out of me.

And by the way - I don't think Inter putting the 'Populous' stadium project design on the Super League announcement before there is any suggestion we have planning permission is a coincidence. Suning will just build that stadium in China, and move the club there.

Spineless c***s.

Why do people say USL is immoral? Do big teams have obligation to play with small teams in something like Champions League? I want to play with certain teams cause I benefit from that and more importantly those teams are willing to share the same loan with me, bear the same risk with me, why can’t I do that and why do I have to obey a corrupt organization like UEFA? UEFA is a fucking nonprofit organization but they are making .7 billion a year from UCL and Europa League. How is that moral and how does that save football?

For short term, if USL happens then it has to be a closed or semi-closed loop because these teams are betting on their broadcasting income to make a loan from JPM. Let us say it’s an open league and next year a “small” team enters because they play well, but they can’t generate the same amount of TV income as Inter or Man U does, is that team willing to pay out of their pocket for the loan? If those small teams are willing to take such risk then by all means make USL open, but we are know what they want is simply free money essentially generated from big teams. How is that moral?

By the way, basketball has super league several years already. Just google EuroLeague.
