It's no secret to FIF members that I love the Chatbox and treat it as my own, and for this very reason, I think that ChatBox deserves it's own thread.

UPDATE: By popular demand, switching the chatbox to an IRC implementation seems to be the top priority.

UPDATE 2: Need a moderator or admin to embed our IRC channel into FIF.

We have an IRC channel on irc.rizon.net, the channel is #ForzaInterForum.

This thread could be a great idea, or it can all go to shit and be forgotten just like the Chatbox

Noone would go out of their way to chat in IRC, the chatbox isn't perfect, but it's right there on the forum's homepage.

I've posted in the chatbox twice in the last year. I like it that much, but in all seriousness I only ever go to "new posts" and therefore scrolling to the bottom of the front page is something which I basically never do.

It's a good idea, at least the statistical info provided through the chat while i read it would be okay.

Just put the chatbox on top just down the banner, people would be forced to read what's up once they log in and they'd be more eager to participate.

Keepng it down there makes me forget it exists sometimes.
