Random Mystery of the evening: - Why did the Inter players look so jaded when lifting the cup, especially Cordoba, who just posed for a few pictures and walked off the scene. I was still drunk with laughter at poor Abbiati and his Merda scums.

Coz they are saving their energy for scudetto victory lap and may be the Champions League victory lap as well :D

# Or is it related to Emre's injury ???? I hope not.... :(

Is it just me or does Nesta always play brutal against us? I think he´s bitter because we rejected him. Tells you all which team he really wanted to play for.

May be you are wrong. May be he wanted to join Inter from the bottom of his heart, but Inter didn't buy him and now he's showing his anger.
Anyway, getting back to topic: :finger: to Nesta. May be Mihajlovic is coming for a special mission. ;)

Can´t believe we didn´t choke. When was that the last time?

Sadly, I couldn't follow Inter in this moment. I felt so sleepy that I slept right after the first 2 penalties been taken.:depress:
Can't believe that I couldn't wait for 5 more mintues. :cry2:

Thanks for the inside info on the trofeo Tim, guys. Myself, i wasn't able to watch it due to our horrible programming not showing any "small" tournaments like this. The players didn't play too agressively in this, but it's always nice to beat Juventus & Milan. That being said, some positive and negative things happened today.

Once again, it seems that Burdisso didn't fail to impress. This kid just has the it in him to become one of the world's best defenders. Has some instincts that you cannot teach a football player, like i said in my review of his signing earlier this month. On the other hand, Emre's injury is gonna be a huge blow. I was actually thinking his performances could win out Mancio and he'd be used as a left winger in a flat 4-4-2 formation, but being out for weeks now will hurt his chances. Perhaps his injury problems will scare away interest from other clubs, i sincerely hope he'll be defending our colors next season.

Very positive stuff. Cordoba and the rest of the team's celebration was good to see on my part though, they don't want this piece of crap. They know that they have choked many times and want to bring home the 14th scudetto.

Forza Inter!

Yes, it was unique indeed. Certainly we should adopt MoH's style of reporting in future. It's concise but contains all the information we need. :D

Tim

More pic:

mancio--310x210.jpg

=====================

btw, our line up was something like this when the final whistle blew against Milan (after 45 mins):

--------------------- Cordaz -------------------

Semenzato--Sorondo -- Materazzi--Pasquale

Momentè---C.Zanetti ----- Camb---Germinale

----------------Laridi----------Fautario----------

:D

and the red devil's

--------------- Abbiati -------------

Cafu ---- Costa --- Maldi ---- Kalad

----------------- Pirlo ----------------
-- Brocchi --- Gattuso -- Dhorasoo--

---------- Crespo -- Barbieri -------

well, most of the youngsters just played for few minutes .... but who cares...coz that was the line up when the full time of 45min ended
And 5 youth players converting the penalties :proud:
Hope our youth players have future with Inter. May be not now, but in the future and it does seem that Mancini does want to give chances to the youth players. :proud:
Hope to see Biava, Beati, Eliakwu and others in Inter in the future:)
If not as starters, they can atleast be back up.

:star:

==============

But I have one question in my mind. Yes, the youth players succeeded in the penalty shoot out, but what was Mancini thinking by bringing those subs at the end ? Were those 5 youth players penalty specialists ??
Did Mancini want to gift them this kind of great opportunity to the youth players, coz they had trained with the senior team and didn't want the youth players just to leave empty hand ??
It must have been a great feeling to our youth players, winning the trophy in San Siro against Milan. :proud:

Not an important trophy, but I doubt they are gonna forget this moment.
Well done Mancini. :)

There are no news on Emre's conditions, not on Inter.it nor on Gazzetta.it.

Good signs? Or are they just waiting for medical tests' results? ...

I'm praying that the injury isn't serious. :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

He looked in very very good shape yesterday.

First, hello to all Inter fans. This is my 1st post here and I want to salute you all. I am from Serbia&Montenegro, homeland of Deki Stankovic and me :D
Ok, I just want to ask - Did Emre injure his knee or his anckle. That's it. Keep informing about his condition, because it would be shame if he's badly injured

Anyway, i just want to state that it was really sad to hear the racist taunts, in the form of a loud "oooooo" just around the time that Dhorasoo was supposed to take his penalty kick. This was obviously a racist taunt by certain sections of idiotic fans and could have very well resulted in Dhorasoo losing concentration and consequently shooting a rather weak penalty shot.

Racism is rife around stadiums, but i hope that the authorities throw these people out. There is nothing worse than to see these poor players subjected to so much racist taunts. It is one thing not to like them, but to publicly make it known is much much worse.

Ciao,
Tim

Alo halo! Welcome in to Forza Inter forums! I hope you enjoy your stay on the boards. If you run into any problems, feel free to contact any of the Administrators/Moderators. We will be glad to help you out. :)

Anyways, Emre should have injured his knee. Hopefully everything's fine with him.

Ciao,
Tim

I know that we were the holders of the TIM trophy anyway, but winning it this time felt so much better, so different. It feels like it's the start of something big.

Thanks to MoH. His posts are always so knowledgeable, but funny at the same time. Well done ;)
