Toni, Trezeguet or Ibrahimovic?

Scolari gave Figo a free role towards the beggining of the World Cup and things didn't really work out too well so he was out as a winger later on. I do not think he has the vision to play as an out and out number 10 which is why Mancio will not rely on him too much (clasically speaking, for what a 10 brings to a team) even if he is put at such a position.

Figo has lost speed, but he is still a wing player because of his ability to cross the ball and he still can dribble off an opponent in a one vs one sittuation.



I do not trust Pizarro whatsoever but it should be interesting to see what line-up and who plays more attacking at the central midfield position. You could say we're lacking options but at the same time, we have so many versatile players.

Grosso isn't really slow, he takes long strides which helps make up the distance. He just looks slow that's all! and this talk about a central midfielder who can attack makes me think of that Riquelme deal (which looks dead in the water now) we could have done, although i have a problem with his ability to defend and tackle. If we land Vieira, he could play alongside El Chu Chu- Pizarro on the other hand, i have my doubts about him but he really isn't that bad.

Well now! It looks like it might be Toni after reading today's news- he's gonna be the only available striker out of the 3, 'cause Juventus said they're not selling anyone else after Vieira.
