Scolari gave Figo a free role towards the beggining of the World Cup and things didn't really work out too well so he was out as a winger later on. I do not think he has the vision to play as an out and out number 10 which is why Mancio will not rely on him too much (clasically speaking, for what a 10 brings to a team) even if he is put at such a position.
Figo has lost speed, but he is still a wing player because of his ability to cross the ball and he still can dribble off an opponent in a one vs one sittuation.
I do not trust Pizarro whatsoever but it should be interesting to see what line-up and who plays more attacking at the central midfield position. You could say we're lacking options but at the same time, we have so many versatile players.
