Inter vs. Torino

We played good games against fiorentina and Atalanta which both should be more difficult then torino.

Torino's games recently have been far from convincing and with a solid game from our lads we should take this one by at least a 2 goal margin. Reports say ibra will not play, and either will figo. Jimi will probably play behind Suazo-cruz, or balotelli instead of one of them.

This is a must win, especially when it seems like roma is not going to slip up points until the game against samp and or Catania (who are playin well)

we should star with Balotelli he's been the most in form striker and our breath of fresh air....I'd put jiminez behind them even though he hasn't been playing to his best but i think he's still better than Stankovic...and have Zanetti and Viera and Cambiasso in the middle....with Chivu and Burdisso in the middle and Maicon and Maxwell on the right and left respectively

I think we will play with Stank in more defensive position with Jimi and Balotelli behind Cruz.

Ibra out for this match. He went back Sweden for treatment. Vieira DQ. A lot of us on yellow cards and need to watchout. Most importantly, dont get Maicon, Chuchu, Balotelli out at the same time.

Torino
Disqualified: Di Michele, Lanna, Recoba.
Cautioned: Bottoni, Corini.

Inter
Disqualified: Vieira.
Cautioned: Balotelli, Cambiasso, Cordoba, Figo, Jimenez, Julio Cesar, Maicon.

Dude whats wrong with Suazo??

I dont understand why there are so many people against him.
He did not complain about being benched all season and have so far scored 8 goals for us ( one more than Ibra on the field). He took his starts pretty well, remember brace against Reggina. This is his first season here, give him a break. With our midfield playing like shit for the most part of this season what more do you expect of Suazo?

Wow slow down. People love Cordoba, atleast I do. I havent got the impression that people dislike him? He's very close to being a legend.

Maybe you've seen all the Materazzi-praise of 06/07 and Samuel-praise of 07/08 and thought that Cordoba is overlooked? He's something like a Zanetti, he has always been there and you can always trust him. In My Opinion.

Thread name fixed.

Guys, let's discuss about the match here and reserve all discussion about Suazo or Cordoba in their respective threads.

Just like against Fiorentina at home, we have a very good record against Torino away. We've won the last 5 matches there, conceding only 1 goal in the process. Last year's match was amazing. Ibrahimovic scored that Tae Kwon Do goal just a minute after Fiore's equalizer.

Torini is in shambles too. They've just appointed De Blasi to replace Novelino, who was ironically linked with the Inter job :)lol:) once. They've only won once in their last 6 matches (Against fellow strugglers Catania) and their home form is 4-7-5.

All in all, this is a must win match and a slip up here would put a big dent in our Scudetto chase, since we still have a tricky Derby against Milan.

Ibra may miss the Milan derby as well. Our striker pairing in this game should definitely be the same as what we want to play against Milan.

I want Crespo to start. Too bad Vieira is gone, but I think Inter can manage against without the French against a very poor Torino. Maicon, JC and Cambiasso are the most important players under caution so maybe one of them should take a yellow in this match to avoid the risk of getting one against Cagliari (JC should avoid the cards in both matches at all costs).
