You have a link, Jimmy?

Of course I don´t have any links to back that up, since it´s like four years ago that he said these things. But rest assured that when he left Inter he didn´t exactly do it with some sense of style. He critizised his teammates saying they were responsible for the bad season, and also said that he wanted to play for a team that had any chance of playing in the Champions League.

4 years ago or so, the internet wasn't like now. There were fewer websites and some of them went bust. I for one, used to follow dailysoccer.com, but then they disappeared and reappeared again but the second time they were crappy.

It was there that I used to follow inter primarily and I remember reading about the 6-0 thrashing we got. Frey was our keeper and goal after goal he used to smile!!! You could tell the guy cares less about our reputation.

About his level, I haven't seen him much. The few times I saw him, he was average at best. He isn't as vocal as Toldo, Kahn or even quiet Dida. You could tell he is happy with the way the defence is no matter how crappy it is. This shows he cares less.

Look at what Frey said against tribalfootball.com yesterday:

Parma goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has admitted he'd welcome a return to Inter Milan.
Inter are lining up the French international for an end-of-season deal to replace current No1 Francesco Toldo.

"I'd be crazy to ignore Inter Milan," Frey said yesterday. "Who wouldn't want to play for such an important team?

"I have been lucky to already have experienced playing for Inter. It is my most treasured memory.

"We will see what happens in the future ..."

Please no Frey, please no.

After his harsh words towards our team, our players etc. he isn´t welcomed. His attitude isn´t welcomed either. He´s hugely overrated as well.

If we´re going to buy him, our management is doing another "great" deal. We swapped Frey for Conceicao plus $4.34 million. We bought Toldo for £18 million. We get rid of Conceicao (we bought him out). We traded Cannavaro for Carini and now we are gonna give Carini plus €5-10 million for Frey?

Please, please don´t do it.

Today i read that Facchetti said he has faith on Toldo. That only means we gonna sell him...and according to rumors we might sell him to Milan.

No no no please no Brocchi,it would be such a good deal for Inter.I'm sure Moratti wouldn't agree to do such a harm to Milan fans.Let's do straight swap for their third keeper Fiori. That would be ok.Our great relationship with Milan on the transfer market would be continued.Yeah , let's do it Massimo. And Milan fans would once again could sing "Massimo Moratti - Uno di Noi "What a great moment that would be for Inter fans :proud:

:yuck:

Frey said those harsh comments about our club as a very young keeper, i seriously doubt that he meant any of those things. He's come to realize that Inter is one of the world's finest clubs and seeing as he's been so loyal to Parma and has become their captain after they've been losing so many key players leads me to believe he's somewhat more mature.

I doubt that we'd be able to find a goalkeeper as good as he is. In fact, i rate him as one of the world's very best. Carini, though is also full of talent and at one point was rated as one to watch for the future but things never went his way.

I say getting Frey may be a good thing, but next summer. As of right now, having Toldo and Carini is more then enough.

It's not such a bad idea after all. Yes, Frey was unloyal to us years ago, but as Nerazzurro said, he was very young then, and probably was too overly-ambitious. If he matured now, and have become a good player, then I see no reason not to bring him back.

Of course, we should give Carini a chance to show his capabilities. If he does not perform as well, then we could trade him with Frey.

well,
I think our management did make an approach on frey, just in case toldo is really over....

fachetti is a more conservative guy, he seems to love to keep people in the team and not a fan of making many transfers...

branca seems to be a bit different and he has somekind od authority of his own... We have hurted few star players who happen to want to win something with us... but branca's approach to our transfer campaign has been rational so far...

release few stars, get free stars, get few super talented players...

branca and fachetti look like balancing each other..

It´s confusing and ridiculous that we are so seriously bringing Frey back when we just made a deal with a highly promising keeper. And with a very expensive price. Does it sound so horrible to all that we just take a look at our Carini-card and go with that..

To be honest I had never heard these comments that Frey made and I am in two minds over it. I either think that he is scum and we're better off without him, or I think that was in the past, he was young and inexperienced and has clearly learned from his past mistakes.

But two things are for sure, Frey is a quality GK, and Toldo is passing his best.

We have also been linked to Sereni by tribalshite  .

He never had much respect for the team, but if we have Carini why do we need.

Do you know whats funny? the official deal for Canna was swapping Carini right? now how much have/will we used Carini for? so in other words we practically did a str8 GIVEAWAY for Canna.

Getting Frey back is equally bad as getting Ronaldo back. Both players went glory-hunting in the past and now you want to accept Frey back? I'm sorry but Frey will never gain my respect back. Besides, the Toldo crisis is truly over-exagerrated, as always when it comes to Inter. The Canna-crisis comes to mind. A keeper can play up until his mid or late 30s. I believe Toldo still has a few years in his gloves and he's just going through to a bad patch at the moment.

yeah, let's believe toldo is not over yet...
but I serously think we do approach frey...

this is what 's on my mind...

we will keep playing toldo..., if toldo is back to his greatness...
(things will stay as it is)..

if toldo sucks, then we will test out carini...., if carini can live upto our expectation, then no more new goalie needed.....

if carini sucks, then frey is already approached...

frey is basically the best one in the market as 1st goalie.. but he has to wait toldone and carini to suck....

Well I don't think that Toldo have played very welll yet he needs to improve....And I don't wonna give him a lot of time to improve since we can't afford it....we needs to try Carrini and if he sucks to then we should go after Frey... Even thugh I don't think that he wonts to return to us.

Another think is coming to my mind.. are we getting Kompany or what...Well anyway we need a CB. But thats not the only thing we miss, we should get a better LB because we a very weak there....If Davids don't improve in his defencive play then er either get rid of him and get a new central midfielder or we should bye a new central midfielder who can play alongside him when the trasfer window opens in january

That's the theory... But what happened instead?

Toldo sucks (he does not IMO by the way) = we tested out Fontana...
