I haven't posted for a while but I have to give you the news in Turkey.

Some of you might know, there is a calciopoli thing going on in Turkey for nearly a year. Yesterday, Turkish Football Federation (TFF) took a major decision about the punishments that would be given to clubs which were proven to be involved in match-fixing: NO RELEGATION will be given, only POINT DEDUCTIONS will be applied ONLY IF the clubs cheated HEAVILY. And yet, they say that none of the cheating has appeared on the field, i.e they tried to cheat but no cheating evidence was seen during the gameplay.

:chan: FFS, how do you differentiate HEAVY/SERIOUS CHEATING? Cheating is a cheating, cheating attempt is a cheating attempt, there should not be a heavy/low differentiation. A complete joke. Bigger joke than Ranieri coaching decisions. TFF simply tries to keep all the clubs in the league so that the TV broadcaster of the league does not lose money. TFF changed the law against match-fixing to prevent relegation :fu:

Well, at least there was contact as the defender did kick his shooting foot as he was shooting. But yeah, his delayed reaction looks ridiculous, especially since the defender had backed away and he was all by himself by the time he went to ground.

Galatasaray became the champion of this season.

League table after play-offs:

1- Galatasaray 48p
2- Fenerbahce 47p
3- Trabzonspor 33p
4- Besiktas 33p


Well, probably none of our teams will go to European Competitions next year (and perhaps few more years) due to UEFA's possible punishment towards our federation, since our federation changed the "relegation rule" and did not punish Fenerbahce for their match fixing actions.

It was my worst experience of Turkish League ever due to certain corruptions by Fenerbahce and broadcaster Digiturk/Lig TV. But in the end, even though i don't like them a single bit, Galatasaray deserved it more than any other team, no doubt. So big congratulations to them.

I will not be buying an annual pass to watch games next year, first time in my life. I simply don't want to be a part of this corrupted, fithy system anymore. Anyway, that's it for the season...

The Galatasaray team looked pretty strong and derserved the title imo.WAY more improved than the sad really team from last year.
Vvery good transfers made,Muslera,Eboue,Elmander,Necati,Ujfalusi,Riera,Felipe Melo, and my personal favorite Selcuk Inan-solid team.

Riera was really a good transfer?He sucked badly at Olympiacos.

Galatasaray wants to be succesful in Europe again. This time, they have a project which will be well supported financially. Ünal Aysal, President of Galatasaray, has a serious project and however he wants Galatasaray in Top 10 in Europe, in terms of financial power, organization and institutionalization.

Regarding CL, i think that they had an easy draw. if they get the second place, they could go far away with a lucky draw.

Regarding their game vs United, i think that they made some mistakes vs United, Firstly, Keeping the possesion, creating dangers, hitting 3 posts, 2 not giving penalty is not easy vs United. Yet they gave many chances away as well. i think that that occured because of some problems.

-First off , Gala had 2vs 3 disadvantage in midfield vs United, Second off, Amrabat didnt help defensively to his wing back. After that, They preffered open play and couldnt show tactical flexibility vs United.

Emre Colak is a good presser, if Terim had play instead Amrabat, They would be better defensively. Emre Colak is a promising lad, if he strengthens himself and increase his continuity in the game, he could be an important player for Galatasaray. maybe Terim wanted to created dangers by Amrabat staying high on the pitch and work between the channels. This Galatasaray should show tactical felexibility.
