So that's the only reason you would like Allan more than Nainggolan? We have two very young midfield players that we will not get rid off, Kova and Taider, Nainggola could add experience and quality.

the difference between taider and kovacic is quite interesting. He might not have 25% the talent of Kovacic, but he knows how to be dangerous. He's assisted more goals in Serie A than Kovacic has in his entire time at Inter already.

He scores, too.

It's the difference between Rooney and Cassano...

The difference between Taider and Kovacic is 2 years. Full stop. 21 > 19.

Allan > Taider

And yet the latter had a much stronger performance because of existing in a stronger squad

So comparing Allan and Nainggolan following a single match is ludicrous imo

Tbh at this point I admit Nainggolan would be a MUCH better pick

Allan's been key for Udinese, but I expected him to step it up as a box to box midfielder

Fuuucck yes boys! This win brings us to 4th place and considering our performance last season, damn we are kicking ass! Hats off to mazzari

Taider proves today why HE is the best b2b midfielder yet again. Did you see that pass for palacios goal? Damn!
Kovacix needs minutes but he is super young and hasnt had a proper preseason. The way I see it, this season is our rebuilding stage. We have the right mix of young and old players (palacio.. wow he was amazing. Motm today). We just need to improve as a unit and our defense has some holes. Speaking of defena e, raochinna for once kept his shit together.!!

If we're this good this season, imagine next season. WHOS WITH ME? FORZA INTERRRR

Yes, Taider is the best ever, never saw anybody better than him, his hattrick today was amazing, but the second hattrick in the second half was even better!

I'm feeling Guarins getting too much undue hate this game. Was strong, passed quite well, almost assisted Palacio's 2nd, hit the post and generally had a pretty good day at the office.

Handanovic: a beast. He is more than a Batman. That save from Di Natale save.. he was cool, calm, and the main key factor for our clean sheet in the last 40 minutes.

Ranocchia: he was better when he had Samuel beside him than Rolando, almost cost us a penalty, if it was juventus we faced we surely got a penalty for his tackle right outside the box. Otherwise he was really good in defending, kept his focus and that volley.. didn't expect it from a frog.

Samuel: didn't have time to show himself in the game but his appearance seemed to calm JJ and Rano.

JJ: stupid brainfart for the yellow, struggling in the end especially after Pereira came in. need some cold head though.

Nagatomo: connecting well with Alvarez and Palacio. helped defense and a threat upfront. he should score that ball though..

Jonachan: slightly off mode today.

Cambiasso: the theory 'if Cambiasso performs well Inter performs well too' continues.. dropped deep to cover and push forward helping to spread ball left and right.

Taider: a typical hid good game. quite but agile. act as first line defense. that free kick for palacio was really good.

Alvarez: the brain of our team. that through pass for Palacio in the beginning was really tasteful. He was non-stop creating. He is our first successful product in our team.

Guarin: everyone was against him as AM because everyone thought of it based on the role of AM. I realised it only before the game that Guarin as AM is just a strategic move to tear Udinese defense and press them higher. So, Guarin was only placed at AM position but he was not functioning as AM. His appearance there drawing attention of defenders towards him while the fact is that Alvarez is the main force. Guarin wasn't the creative part of the game. He is just there to do some damage on the defense and create spaces for Ricky and Palacio which was brilliant as we were getting some chances in the beginning. Guarin today was like a false10.

Palacio: just a normal day in the office. simply amazing.

Rolando: I didn't even notice he was there most of the time but he should have done more actively than letting shooters to handanovic.

Andreolli: wasn't bad at all for his second debut. seems to have more pace and speed than Rolando.

Pereira: clumsy on defense. if we were against juventus, we would have paid a penalty because of him. made a good run from alvarez pass just to fuck up with his delivery into the box because he thought that Palacio is the same height as Belfodil.

Walter Mazzarri: great tactical play. strategic moves, he could have done more if it wasn't because of Samuel, Jonachan, and Ranocchia injuries. Was unlucky all 3 subs he made today because of injury.

Fell asleep after the second goal. I've really got to stop watching games so early in the morning while lying down.

Seemed to play fairly well from what I saw, though.

Actually...

6 of our 11 last goals came from a dead ball.

1 vs Torino
3 vs Verona
2 vs Udinese

that's good. we must use height/jump abilities to our advantage (well, some weren't goals like that, but still, u know what I mean)

until you realise the only header was Palacio's today goal.

vs Torino Guarin's overhead.
vs Verona Jonathan deflected shot, Palacio rebound, Rolando fluke tap in.
and of course Ranocchia volley.

Cambiasso has been a sensational corner taker, well practiced routine from what I can see.

Great work by Mazzarri and our on field coach.
