No offence dude, but THANK GOD U R NOT THE MANAGER. Two questions, Who is going to defend in your line up???, Secondly as Han mentioned, what are wingers doing in diamond formation???.

Our 4-4-2 is perfectly capeable of getting results we need. And everyone is agreeing on the line-up for this game, and I would go with that. Time to choke Udinese

I don't think I would play Pizarro in this game. First, thanks to the great experiment, his confidence is probably low now. Second, it's his ex-team and he wasn't necessarily on good terms with them. I am afarid he will try too hard.

And too true about Cambiasso, we are wearing him out. When we need a Davids or a Karagounis....

Jesus Christ, where the f-ck did I say in my post that that was my formation? I simply wrote something that was maybe a secondary formation if Cambiasso were not to play (which I hope not because he is key to our midfield).

Wow looks like you can't brainstorm on these forums...

that schedule is all difficult. Though I'm confident we can win all of those matches.

This is where the art of rotating some players comes in handy.By that I mean in all departments make small changes ofcourse, the last thing we need is instability.
One of:
CZ/Cambiasso

Veron/Pizzaro

In the middle

Then when JZ comes back we can have Matrix relax, then maybe rest Cordoba in the Porto game.

Ofcourse upfront we have a couple of combinations especially if Martins recovers.

HOW Mancini plays his cards in this tough stretch will say alot about him. :star:

as long as he doesn't change formation I'll be happy. I know that whatever players are on the field, as long as played in a 4-4-2 formation, will do the job. That's how confident I am.

Please mancini stick to 4-4-2. If I see 4-5-1 again I am going to lose it.

MY team:

J.Cesar

Burdisso Cordoba Samuel Favalli

Figo veron cambiasso solari

recoba adriano

I think pizzaro should start instead of veron in this match becasue he is a former udinese player and he knows their weaknesses. I also think that c.zanetti should start instead of combiasso becasue he gives better cover in the back and that is needed becasue solari and pizzaro are more attacking than veron and stancovic. Most of u think that the biggest mistake mancini has done was playing veron and pizzaro in the same lineup but i thnk that veron and pizzaro could play togather but the real mistake that mancini was doing was playing pizzaro and combiasso in the same line up. pizzaro is more similar to combiasso than he is to veron and if u think about it all the games we lost combiasso and pizzaro were in that lineup, in the juventus game veron wasnt even part of the team and we still lost.

Pizzaro more similar to cambiasso than veron   . In what ways dude, certainly not in football. And Gobbi's are a good team :yuck: . Its team like Palermo & Porto, who we shouldn't loose to, but still do, when we play Veron & Pizzaro together

gol tv is showing bbilan game...

hope we will win (ofcourse we will) cause there is match reply later at sunday

I think (mancini wont play like this 100%) cambiasso and zanetti could play central mids if recoba and adriano starts up, cause cambiasso could get more freedom and would get more into the space then anytime, now when he has hammer behind him...but lets stick to veron and cambiasso, this plan is only if veron is unvailable for the match

NO, Emperor is right. Pizarro is more like Cambiasso than Veron. Pizarro likes to play in front of the defence, like Cambiasso. They're also both playmakers. Cambiasso is used as a holding midfielder here but he is originally a playmaker.

In a 4-5-1 line-up this is how the midfield would line up..

Stankovic-------Veron--------Figo
-------Cambiasso-----Pizarro--------

This suggests that Cambiasso and Pizarro are more similar than Pizarro and Veron.

I'm sure most people here will agree with me.

I wont agree or disagree cause all 3 of them like to play as playmakers in front of defence,...with one central mid,box to box runner

for me, its a little miracle that cambiasso and veron are working great together...its amazing

thats why we need to keep hammer, he is only one pure worker, tackler defensive mid, who's main job is to defend, not to create, like veron pizarro or cambiasso
