Truth be told, Man Utd were by far the better team in the first 10 minutes.
But I think unless PJS supplied the whole team with a whole lot of ginseng, it's pretty obvious they can't keep playing at that pace for the full 90 minutes.
Come on Han, far better team?...They didn't have one occasion on goal in that first 10 minutes...It was like the beginning of a prize fight where both boxers are trying to get a feel for where they can hurt their opponent...United applied excellent pressure early and Mascherano looked like the weak link back there in those 10 minutes but it's a far cry from superiority
Barca's midfield players look to find their rhythm early in a match and after that initial 10 minutes they found the right speed and were passing Manchester off the park
As for Park Ji Sung, I watched pretty intently in those first 30 odd minutes as he was helping on Dani and always closing down Leo ahead of the back 4 for United...What I saw was that he didn't make one successful tackle on Leo and after about 4 or 5 successful dribbles on Park, you could see him back off of Messi...It was about 30 min or so but then no one wanted to get too tight on Leo outside of the box...He was virtually unplayable by then
Chicharito's most action occurred in those first 10 min when Barca were still trying to find their rhythm, after that he was pretty anonymous...Mainly, because anytime United did end up with the ball, they were hounded before they could even get Javier a sniff of the ball...For me, Giggs (age mostly) & Carrick looked out of their depth and were incapable of really bossing the midfield
But to pass off the park a side like United, that's not something you see very often
