I can't believe how poor Manu was. SAF is one great manager but tactically he is piss poor. After being dominated by 2009 and seeing how Mourinho was able to contain Barca, I thought he would have some tactics to at least make it a good match. But they were just appalling.

Truth be told, Man Utd were by far the better team in the first 10 minutes.

But I think unless PJS supplied the whole team with a whole lot of ginseng, it's pretty obvious they can't keep playing at that pace for the full 90 minutes.

Their tactic didn't work. They thought they would be getting 1 early goal and then defend like hell but unfortunately that early 10 minutes just a waste of energy. When I sae it I knew it was wrong and certainly it was because Man Utd don't have strikers who can defend well like Inter. SAF got the tactic wrong in the begining and it cost the rest of the game.

It's all 2009 again if you recall it right. In Rome Manchester started the first 10 minutes very well too before Eto'o gave Barca the lead. From then on it was all Barca.

Yup. I said it here also couple pages before that Man U were replaying what they did in 2009. They were lucky that Barca didn't have Eto'o anymore. Otherwise, it could be more painful. Palermo yesterday could probably play better than Man U tbh.

Come on Han, far better team?...They didn't have one occasion on goal in that first 10 minutes...It was like the beginning of a prize fight where both boxers are trying to get a feel for where they can hurt their opponent...United applied excellent pressure early and Mascherano looked like the weak link back there in those 10 minutes but it's a far cry from superiority

Barca's midfield players look to find their rhythm early in a match and after that initial 10 minutes they found the right speed and were passing Manchester off the park

As for Park Ji Sung, I watched pretty intently in those first 30 odd minutes as he was helping on Dani and always closing down Leo ahead of the back 4 for United...What I saw was that he didn't make one successful tackle on Leo and after about 4 or 5 successful dribbles on Park, you could see him back off of Messi...It was about 30 min or so but then no one wanted to get too tight on Leo outside of the box...He was virtually unplayable by then

Chicharito's most action occurred in those first 10 min when Barca were still trying to find their rhythm, after that he was pretty anonymous...Mainly, because anytime United did end up with the ball, they were hounded before they could even get Javier a sniff of the ball...For me, Giggs (age mostly) & Carrick looked out of their depth and were incapable of really bossing the midfield

But to pass off the park a side like United, that's not something you see very often

First of all, Congrats to the REAL Barca supporters on the win.

I was in Disneyland for the weekend and saw it on a big screen outside. Here were some things I witnessed.

- There were 29 Barcas supporters inside and outside the park that I counted.
-There were 13 Man U supporters that I counted.
-There was also a married couple that was split, the husband lost and Wife won.

-I was only able to watch the 2nd half, but right when I saw the big screen, Messi scores the 2nd goal for Barca, and then there were ridiculous cheers in the streets.

Talk about a predictable game :palm:

That is the most useless story I've ever read. I mean wtf. You counted the exact amounts? Do you have nothing better to do? Why do I care about this couple? Should I feel sorry for the husband?

I mean seriously...I can not even understand the basis to this story.

I don't even...

It definitely felt like alot of Blaugrana was down South in my area. sorry :palm: The game itself really bored me to death, outside of the 2nd half goals.

I just saw alot of random shit down South.

LOL Y'all need to get off Coast's ass! He is in telecommunications, so it comes naturally to him to pick up small details that indeed tell a bigger story...

Any ways @ FC BARCA: are u kidding me??!?! Han couldn't have been more right than the word itself. Farcelona was owned for the 1st 10 minutes of that game & actually also from when they scored to when United equalized!
It really sickens me to see Pep own SAF like that! SAF is wayyy better than that dude man!

Kill me. Just wanted to share the attmosphere where I was. In the past I wouldn't see supporters in public, but this time I did, since I was in a big city. People got a kick out of it that I had my Inter scarf on the entire weekend.

Yea, details are big to me as a writer. It is a natural thing to post that.

I got real bored this game, just because it was ownage and one-sided, despite Man U equalizing in the first half. Villa's kick was world class.
