Regarding the FCB vs. FCB game, there was a sign of mutual respect between the two clubs as the final whistle was blown. That meant no sprinklers on the Camp Nou pitch...kay:

The elimination of Spanish teams by their German counterparts signal for a new era and cycle in football. Italian teams really need to get their shit together if we want to see any sort of success in the near future.

On another note, it would be interesting to see the Champions League Final dress rehearsal on Saturday evening local time when Bayern and Dortmund square off in Signal Iduna Park.
