RM without Marcelo is nothing. He's the best left back in the world when on form imo, Coentrao is pure shit. Coentrao cost them the CL final last year, and this year it shows how much they miss him.

Marcelo was definitely missed, I think the purchase of Coentrao was unnecessary in the first place. Mourinho was always looking for a way for Coentrao to usurp Marcelo in the line up IMO, he loves his portuguese. Marcelo was just so good going forward he had no choice but to play him.

I think Barcelona gave up that's why they didn't start him. Figure they can't come back from 4 goal deficient and no reason for Messi to get further injured.
