Imagine having Bayern, Barca, Napoli/Tottenham in the same group, then having Spartak, Sevilla, Besiktas and Celtic in another :megusta:

It's the champions of the top 8 leagues go into pot one. It's been like that for a couple of years now. Think that's pretty fair. Only time there's a difference is if the previous champions league winner isn't the champion of their domestic group, it's the top 7 leagues.

Liverpool got an easier group. As for the Italian teams, I think Roma are fucked but Juve and Napoli should finish in the top 2 at least.
