What's striking is how difficult Real's schedule is.

In a given year, their toughest away games (in no particular order after the first two) are Barcelona, Atletí, Athletic, Betis, Sociedad, Valencia, Villarreal, and Sevilla.

During this stretch, they play four of those teams away from home. As it pertains to us, their away game to Villarreal comes before they come to San Siro.

Of the four teams, their league schedule is definitely the hardest.

There is no best anything with Gagliardini involved. But yeah, Real Madrid will dab on us. We have to get maximum points from the other two teams.

The season is incredibly young.

In recent days we've had bayern getting spanked 4-1, Liverpool spanked 7-2, United 6-1, City 5-2. The season is young, no pre season etc. Let's see how things go. But people who thought we should beat real are still crazy. We will have to be on top of our game to beat them. But we should beat the other two.

We need to give these big teams something to think about instead of only thinking about them. A proper LWB and DM would make us look a lot more solid but doesn’t appear that’s on the cards for now.

In fact that’s why I dont like it. It’s too luck-dependent, sometimes a football match could be unfair due to other reasons like refereeing issues, so a second match could be a chance to be more enthusiastic, hence why usually the leg matches are more intense and interesting.
