missing Julian Brandt costs Dortmund the match.

don't tell me Chelsea will have another scrappy run to win

Everyone focuses on Bellingham (btw what a miss last night) but Brandt has been their best and most consistent performer post World Cup. Also loss of Adeyemi was huge for Dortmund.

Shame for Dortmund, but at least they'll focus on the league now. Very good team that just needs more luck with injuries.

When you need Kobel to make great saves in most matches then no. Defensive setup isn't working well. You're just bailed out by GK. And DM is also a big issue. Can just isn't it. I would even argue you need an upgrade at rb. Ryerson and Wolf are fine as backups (Meunier is shit) but neither of them is starting material.
Disagree. Kobel-Sule-Schlotterbeck are finally getting a consistent run together so the cohesion is getting there. It's not perfect but it's a solid foundation. Compared with Burki-Hummels-Akanji there's been a massive improvement. Also Ozcan is a solid DMF and still developing. Disagree about Brandt. He's the creative outlet but Bellingham is the foundation. Even when he has a shit game (like last night) he is the driving force of the team. He will be difficult to replace. Agree about RBs, but I can live either of the three for now.

Dortmund's been very lucky since the WC, they aren't good at all. Yesterday's game showed their true level. Missing players is a lame excuse especially when compared to the players Chelsea were missing earlier.

You're gonna think I'm insane for saying this but I prefer Real Madrid btw. They have a very hard time in ties where they're the favorites.

I am not arguing Brandt is a better player than Bellingham. Bellingham is a much better player and a better leader. But Brandt is in better form right now. He was voted as Bundesliga player of the month for January and he is again nominated for February.

Well that's why I called them lucky.

They were out-xG'd by Leverkusen and Leipzig in the league, and by Chelsea in the CL.

The rest of those 11 wins were against relegation/lower-mid-table fodder like Augsburg, Bochum, Mainz, Hertha and Hoffenheim. Every single one of these wins were by a single goal except for Hertha Berlin.

I'd say their only impressive wins during that run were against Werder Bremen and Freiburg.

But then again you can look at results and think a team's doing well. Sure Brandt missing was impactful but it's not like Adeyemi has been important at all this season.

Chelsea were missing Sterling, Pulisic, Kante, Broja, Mendy, Aubameyang, Badiashile, Madueke and Fofana for the first leg.

Sterling and Pulisic returned for yesterday's game but Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva and Mount were missing.

Adeyemi has been one of their best performers post World Cup

Just admit you don't watch matches and you just check scoreline and expected goals stats.

Probably will watch the Bayern vs P$G match, it's on TUDN/UniMas in the US today @ 3:00pm. Hopefully it is entertaining.

Can't cotton to anyone playing today, the Bayern match at least is on cable and Paramount + streaming won't be an issue.

I think it’s only available in NA and I’m pretty sure all NA inhabiting fif members are well aware of its existence.

We won't face anyone cause Porto will kick us out and watch Milan progress (nightmare)
Milan has zero chances with UEFA's PL fetish growing stronger every year.

I hope Milan loses. I don't care about euro points, let the Europa League teams collect them for serie A. In CL, I will never support both Milan or Juventus.
COYS
