Swansea made a fantastic start. Their first Europa game and won 3-0 away to Valencia and with 65% possession. That's a fantastic achievement that too for a PL club against La Liga club.

Pretty sure Valencia went down to 10 men at around the 10th minute or so. Still a great result but I doubt they would do that to an 11 man Valencia.

Two assists! He clearly looked a little weak though, so he probably needs to bulk up a bit. Lazio did well to come back and draw the game, but in reality they're a far more talented side so I see it as points lost


Also, all those people who were saying that we should be after Biglia should punch themselves in the face for pure stupidity. What an average as fuck player he is, and that's on a good day.

It's a useless competition. I wouldn't be upset if they did away with it honestly. Maybe 2 or 3 good games a year in the whole comp. maybe champions league guaranteed groups stage placement will spark some interest.

Unless it's like 2/3 of the Semi-Finalists get a place in CL then it's useless. I know that without it then many teams wouldn't have much motivation to improve. If they know that they're comfortable midtable then they know they don't have a chance of top 4 or 3 so they can just relax.

Still, what's the big difference between UEFA Cup and Europa League? Wasn't there suppose to be a change.

Perea was the worst of our U20 strikers just really tall. Lacks speeds, finishing, balls and a winners mentality. He is still young hope he fixes his issues or is made into a CM or ATM and can be a great player.

As for Lazio I think they used a mixed team tho I am shocked by the 3 goals they got scored on them. Really pathetic.

As for Biglia ....... haha man he is an Argie.... you know everyone here automatically thinks he is godlike.

They didnt. Except those injured players, but its not like they rested them, they were injured otherwise they played with their best 11 currently, Candreva, Lulic, Andreson, Hernanes, they all played.

You win about Roma tho. It all depends on form anyway, Romas in great form, we are in decent, and Lazio will bounce back. Not top3 contender, but will get better. While roma will drop some points and will have drop in form eventually. My 2 cents.
