Not at all Shaun. It's quite an unbelievable story though.

When he was younger he was a skinny, shy kid. Very clever and dedicated to his schooling. However he was picked on, bullied and even beat up a fair bit. When he began going out he would hang around us (his sister was part of our circle of friends) so he wasn't picked on. On a couple occasions he'd come to us because somebody was starting him.

He started training to basically defend himself, hit the gym pretty hard and then the next thing we knew he was fighting in competitions.

Back then, I would never have imagined he would go on to achieve what he has done.

As for the PPV today I'm pretty disappointed overall. However, Big Country continues to be a human oxymoron, and Jon Jones continues to be close to invincible.

Chael just got completely outclassed, pretty crazy. The refs definitely killed some of the prelims but it was a pretty bad card overall. Now almost a month til Vitor <3

Starting some MMA class again finally on Monday, going to be working with Braulio Estima :heart: Hopefully be ready for some competition by next year. Until then, lots of intense training.

hahaha i've been stupidly excited for the past week or so since I got it sorted out, really can't wait. Haven't been able to train properly for years thanks to a few knee injuries, but all are fixed now so I should be good, just lucky i'm southpaw tbh XD

Definitely going to take advantage of Braulio's jiu jitsu knowledge, but also want to do some more striking.

The Rousey - Tate fight was fantastic. Ronda doesn't deserve all the shit she gets. She's real. I'm not sure why people expect something different from someone who spends so much time hanging out with the Diaz brothers and co.

Yeah, really terrible. I guess that's sports, and as nice as it would have been for Anderson to go out on top for a fairy tale ending. I guess it wasn't meant to be. There is no way for him to come back from that at his age sadly. Weidman - Belfort will be a great fight though. It would be nice to actually believe that Vitor is where he is naturally, but UFC is a long way from sorting out the plethora of drug issues that exist.
