I´m not really sure that is Dellafiore though.

Yep, that's good old Della Fiore, but Marino, wow, he does look different...I'm not sure Visconti is in the picture (Could he be that stranger in the middle?) I am all but familiar with my favorite living Inter right back, Della Fiore!!! (After J. Zanetti of course! Ever since that cross, I have fallen in love...again) I'll show you my sketchy predictions in any event :D

---[ Giani ]------[ Della Fiore ]------[That Athletic Trainer ?]--- 2nd Row

---[ Lombardo ]------[ ??? ]------[ Marino ]--- 1st Row

Tell me who Meggiorini is BTW.

I can see his head in the back, but since it could be any random head...Hehe :lala: here's a few pictures instead.

He’s the guy behind Recoba in this picture.

He's on the far right.

Yeah, in that pic I can see it is Dellafiore. But he looks different somehow on the plane pic.

By the way, you wrote Giani where I said Lombardo was. Hope that was an honest mistake. :)
Giani isn´t in that pic. You recognise him rather easily. He looks like Sorondo with his hair.

URAWA 0 INTER 0 AFTER 1ST HALF

Tuesday, 27 July 2004 13:00:57
SAITAMA - It's 0-0 between Urawa Red Diamonds and Inter after the first half of the Saitama City Cup. Young Nerazzurri forward Meggiorini, who replaced Lampros Choutos after the Greek striker suffered a slight muscular injury, hit the post hit in the 37th minute.

c'mmon inter .... we got to collect the friendly cup's trophies

:D

Sadly, Choutos got injured. Hopefully, it's not a serious one. It was a good chance to prove himself, but ....

Anyway, I doubt he's in Mancini's plans?

Two friendly games for Choutos. Two injuries. Ridiculous to its best.

As I said sometime back .... don't get shocked ...

We lost the game:

EDIT:

SAITAMA - Inter were beaten 1-0 by Urawa Red Diamonds in the 2004 Saitama City Cup. The winning goal came after a dubious penalty decision when referee Nishimura pointed to the spot after a contact between Toldo and Emerson. The Brazilian striker converted the resulting penalty in the 51st minute.

The Nerazzurri had more chances than their Japanese opponents and were denied on four occasions due to some debatable offside decisions.

URAWA RED DIAMONDS 1-0 INTER (HT: 0-0)

Scorers: Emerson (pen) 51'

INTER: Toldo (Bindi 88'); Dellafiore, Adani, Giani, Coco (Visconti 80'); Karagounis (Marino 87'), Farinos, Lamouchi, Zicu (Costanzo 46', Lombardo 78'); Recoba, Choutos (Meggiorini 7')
Coach: Fernando Orsi

URAWA RED DIAMONDS: Tsuzuki, Alpay, Horinouchi, Uchidate, Iamada, Hasebe, Hirakawa, Iamase, Suzuki, Nagai, Emerson
Coach: Guido Buchwald

Referee: Nishimura
Assistant referees: Hirano, Iasumoto

================

And plzz guys, don't get mad at our team, coz of this result. It's just a friendly and we know what kind of team that was. ;)

Oh I can't deci
Inter.it also happened to mention that it was a dubious penalty, and that Inter were denied clear chances on at least 4 occasions by equally dubious offside calls. The result does not matter much, its how we played.

Somehow I`m not surprised that their penalty was dubious and that Inter had more chances and were denied due to some debatable offside decisions. So typical inter.it ;) Anyway the result doesn`t really matter and we were playing with a B-squad so nothing to worry about really.

But what the hell is the matter with Choutos? He seems to be a real injury machine. The guy can`t play ten minutes without getting injured.

Just like Pani told us Choutos is very injury prone. I still haven´t figured out what we are doing with him. He hasn´t been loaned out or used in another deal yet...

Pani vs Coco vs Ronaldo (Post 98)

It'll be a great match. :)

Man, Inter is a joke. We lost against a Japanese side that none of us has even heard of before. We have overtaken Real Madrid as the jokes of Europe. :D

I wouldn´t give the match so much importance. We should IMO be careful not to make this such a big deal. :)

Why? It is a friendly match which main purpose is to promote Inter in Asia. Secondly we used players such as Lamouchi and Choutos who with all due respect in my eyes are the weak links of the team. Not to mention the young nerazzurri who is getting their chance of a lifetime. Then the apparent refereeing mistakes...

With that said we could have done better. ;) But the important thing is to get in shape for the CL Preliminaries as Mancio said.

Yes, this was for promotion. A failed promotion I might add. I'm sure we want to promote ourself as a winner, not a loser! How in God's name are we gonna get more supporters if we lost in Japan? It's bloody ridiculous. Even the Primavera team should be able to beat Urawa Reds!

But honestly, I don't give a $hit. I'm so-called 'taking a break' from being an Ultra. :D

Hehe. You can´t take a break from being an ultra!!! :D In your heart you are always an ultra, in your mind you can take a break.

And I agree with you. A failed promotion. But like I said we don´t know the details of the dubious situations. ;)

Even if they were helped by the referee, we should have been able to beat them fairly easily.

Tough to tell IMO. We are not in top shape yet and I don´t know the strength of Japanese football.

Of course we are not in top shape yet. But players like Recoba and some Primavera players has been doing a pre-season activities for 20 days, which I deem sufficient.

J-League is a joke. I have watched it during my vacation there and the quality is nowhere near the European leagues. Most of them are just superstars wanna-bes. Lots of ball-hoggers and people who try to do Beckham (A God among the Japanese) from set-pieces, crosses or long passes. Their defense is shambolic. Ancona would beat them easily, really.
