Seems like he is a starter for Steve Bruce's Magpies. Would not be surprise if they will want the move permanent. Depends on the new ownership and is Steve Bruce their guy. Watched Newcastle a couple of times recently one he wasn't bad. The match against Manchester City, yikes the whole team stunk and lost 5-0.

He isn't a starter for them. He started against City because Saint Maximin was absent. He mostly plays as a sub. My pal from Newcastle likes him a lot and wants him to stay though he may be a bit biased as he also is an Interista. :D

According to Sky, everything is indicating Newcastle will decide against activating Lazaro 24m option. Inter aren't worried though as many teams have shown an interest for the player.

We're not gonna fetch that money from any club most probably. It's going to be another loan and then if he plays well enough we can sell him for 20m€-ish to avoid capital deficit.

His agent has said they're in advanced talks with a club but there's no decision yet.

he won't be redeemed by Newcastle, but his agent admitted that he is in talks with Champions League club. It means Leipzig probably. There are also rumors about Gladbach and Werder.
Leipzig means problably a loan with option to buy which isn't best idea considering that they didn't redeem Angelino and Patrick Schick recently in spite of their good performances.
Would be nice to arrange a swap deal with Gladbach btw and get Marcus Thuram. In my opinion he would be a great option for 4th striker. He is one of few players who are fast and good in the air at the same time.

Loan with an obligation to buy. We keep bleeding in amortization costs if we just loan players out. Unless we get a loan fee, of course. 5m€ annual fee and they can loan him as much as they ever want.

I doubt it's Leipzig as they have already signed Benjamin Henrichs from Monaco. Gladbach sound much more realistic as they lack the squad depth to play in 3 competitions.

yep, that's true. I forgot that Gladbach will play in Champions League next year. However, I can't imagine they can offer more than 12 mln euro for Lazaro, so I think there is either loan with option to buy or swap deal involved.

Schira reported it's RB Leipzig. Other interested clubs are Gladbach and Werder Bremen.
