Viareggio Victory : A Round-Up

So, the Viareggio 2015 session has finished. And it has been quite interesting from an Inter perspective. Traditionally a tournament where the top youth players can make a big name for themselves – past golden players include Ciro Immobile and Bryan Cristante – Inter have done remarkably well after a bit of a lull in performance the last few seasons, since the victory in 2011.


Inter v Genk. Rocca scores the first at 50 seconds, the second from the penalty spot at 2:40, and Della Giovanna scores at 3:35 a wonderful free kick.

Inter opened its Viareggio Cup with a 3-1 victory against Belgian side Genk, with two goals from Michele Rocca and one from Della Giovanna.
