After the Bbilan game where before I expected a reall fight till the end for a win I got a game with zeru shots on goal, and it was obviuous as day that WM settled for a draw and he though he was gonna get it but thanks to Cuchu's great covering he spoiled his "genious" plan and he went panic mode and acomplished nothing. This type of football where the coach doesn't go for the win and calculates like a little bitch grinds my gears to the max.My patience with him is very, very low(I consider myself patient tbh)because even Strama wasn't such a pussy tbh.If we can get a Spalletti kind of coach or someone who loves to actually play football...ET should go for it.I can't believe he enojoys in WM's football. How the fu can he get up at 5 AM for this shit?!Even the fans skip games or they watch it drunk(like me,Rasha and Fitzy). If he stays for another season it will mostly be another agonizing experience but I can live with it if ET has a bigger name in play...like Simeone or Mou or someone of that calibre.
I can't believe I defended WM a couple of times even though I knew the day he signed that I/we won't like his style of play and shit...I should have known better. He is not worth defending anymore.
but also we need some new players who can start games and can help win them.I fear however that FFP won't allow us shit and we will get free agents and Nilton type of players...

We are on the same path, I can't believe I had defended this fucker, seriously, His display against Milan show it all...
Yeah E.T wants to see a beautiful football which WM doesn't understand. Maybe we should ask the Inter Club Indonesia to push ET, we don't want to see any stuff like this... I keep waking up to watch our beloved team, hoping that I can watch a beautiful win, brilliant play from Kova, some fancy footwork from Botta, but no we play like shit, Kova given shit defensive instruction, Botta just sleeping on the bench...
FUCK IT!

Mazzarri: "Let's bounce back. We can do it"

"AC Milan just a bump in the road, I'm in charge. Now we're thinking about Lazio and winning the game to best honour captain Zanetti, an Inter legend"

APPIANO GENTILE - "We got things wrong against AC Milan, it hurt the lads and me, as I'm the man in charge of it all." This is what Walter Mazzarri said on the eve of Inter v Lazio, as he faced the media.

"After the defeat we've worked to go out there and put in a completely different performance to the one we showed against AC Milan, when we weren't able to demonstrate what we wanted nor what we're capable of doing. Now we want to bounce back and show the derby was just a bump in the road, something I'm in charge of.

"Now my first aim is to best motivate the team to play a great match against Lazio. I feel safe in the knowledge that I've always given everything for the cause. We'll then see where we are come the end of the season. The fans' reaction? Fans are very emotional, they have every right to be, they live in the emotion of the moment, but I enjoy being the lightning rod, it's part of a coach's job. Besides, the club knows what goes on, what's happened, the work the coach puts in and how it goes beyond a specific moment in time."

The coach then spoke about Zanetti's final match at the Meazza. But the captain was the first to want the lads focused on the game, without distractions: "He said it himself - explained Mazzarri - speaking as a great leader, and I hope that the ground is full tomorrow, the atmosphere is positive and there's great motivation for the match to give us the enthusiasm and drive we need to get over this hurdle in front of us. Will Zanetti play? You'll see who I pick tomorrow. I speak to him on a daily basis, he knows that my choices are always logical and done based on beating the opposition. Either way, Zanetti is an Inter legend, it's weird to think we'll no longer see him out there playing or training, he's emblematic of this club. It's emotional when such an important footballer retires, not just for the fans either."

We've conceded ~20 fewer goals this season compared to last, while scoring more.

How about "secure"? :troll:

Yes but Mazzari has been very lucky with injuries (especially compared to Strama and Benitez)

As far as I'm concerned, we began the season exactly where Strama left us. Where we are now is incremental compared to game 1 of the season.

First half of the season was arguably better, (first third cerainly was) but I also believe our luck abandoned us down the stretch. The way we threw away leads - it could have happened earlier, tbh, but in the end that requires the other team to step up and make it happen. This key element is easily forgotten in rants of criticism towards our team.

Admittedly, WM tends to play it safe tactically, which can expose us to dropping points and blowing our small leads. Derby was very frustrating, no doubt. But looking at the bigger picture, to build a foundation for the club going forward, it was a reasonable approach to take in transitional year with a roster that is actually fairly defensively composed. It wasn't glamorous, but in the end he's two winnable matches away from 5th. A fair result, if we can manage.

I'll take it. :work:

So basically, we were unlucky and other teams got better while we didn't. Got it, good to know there's legitimate reasons why Mazzarri is regressing.

This season is now about to end so I can say that I was more pleased with Strama than I am with Mazzarri.

At least Strama tried to use different styles and tactics. He was IMO pretty innovative and also we attacked against bigger sides.

If you look at the statistics and how what kind of football we played it is Strama who deserved to have another year more than Mazzarri. But in the end I quess neither of them deserves another year in a club like Inter.

Strama lost the respect of the dressing room. I think that was pretty obvious, and the one thing that Mazzarri clearly has over Strama. He's clearly respected by the players. His tactics and adaptability are something else entirely though

I see myself as a peaceful and nice guy, but I seriously hope something very bad happens to you Walter, you utter prick of a human being.

Making Inter matches an utter bore to get through is one thing. Barely scraping us through to Europe (maybe?) can be forgiven. But YOU.DO.NOT
start the biggest player in the history of our club on the bench for his final home

Fuck you Mazzarri. Sincerely, fuck you.

Edit: That said, credit for the result and a sympathetic Milito-sub in (although I would've liked to see Wally get an applause during a substitution also).

I stil want you out, and I still can't stand looking at your sour-ass face.

I have a feeling he was told he was going to get sacked today.

Either that, or he really needed to take a shit.

Yeah he was angry the whole time. What was up with him? It could be that he was told he is getting sacked but how come Thohir keeps saying Mazzari is staying?

He said "I will talk of everything after chievo game ( to the press)" seems like he could resign

Well, as predicted, he's staying unless he himself decides otherwise. I think the decision to sack him never had any real support among Inter officials.

Mazzarri: 'I'm tired'
By Football Italia staff

Walter Mazzarri secured Inter’s Europa League spot by beating Lazio 4-1, but confessed to feeling “tired.”

The Nerazzurri had stuttered recently, but got back on track after conceding an early Biancocelesti goal.

“I am happy with the way we dealt with this season, but we must wait before giving a definitive judgment until the last game.”

Mateo Kovacic had been dropped by Mazzarri for many months, but provided three winning assists this evening.

“He is growing and needed to improve in many areas, but you can see him maturing game by game. He’s becoming more decisive and we knew it would be a growth process.”

Despite qualifying for the Europa League, Mazzarri seemed ill-tempered in the Sky Sport Italia interview.

“This is a tricky year for me, I had to really struggle and I’m a little tired. There is this final push and I used up a lot of energy, as we had so much to do. Let’s wait for the final game, then I will explain exactly how I feel.
“Clearly we should inform people better of what kind of year this is. We tried, but nobody listened to us. Some of the difficulties were not helped by the media.”

The Coach implied he was not entirely happy with the squad this season.

“We have a clear project in mind. One of the difficulties this season was we did all we could in the circumstances, dealing with the squad at my disposal. I will tell the club my ideas and then we can plan for next season.

“I hear people say we play only on the counter-attack, but that’s not true. They should see teams who really do play that way.

“We need players who can win the ball back quickly and pressure the opposition. If you don’t have those characteristics, then you have to go deeper and pour forward at pace.

“It isn’t really my style of football, but there’s a big difference between saying something and doing it.”
