Former Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has been officially announced by Suning as technical co-ordinator.

The 62-year-old left Roma back in October of last year, and has now made the move to work with Inter.

A Press conference will follow shortly with Suning to confirm the details after rumours of the move were leaked last night.

Suning have confirmed that Sabatini will hold the position for both of their clubs: Inter in Serie A and Jiangsu Suning Nanjing in China.

Sabatini will basically work for both Jiangsu and Inter. It will be hilarious if Jiangsu get the better players and we get Jiangsu leftovers, like Sainsbury.

on a more serious note, there was some politics in what sabatini said. he talked about chinese players and chinese youngsters. suning want him to help develop the chinese NT of the future, which means suning and the chinese government are in this together.

on a less serious note, i recently found it that in china the same time zone is used all over the country. it must be super weird having the sun well up in the sky in one part of the Country, set for two hours some other place, and yet the same hour.

Agreed. Ausilio cant handle one club, can Sabatini handle two? I mean this is Inter, we'd need him everyday and fully concentrated. But truth must be said I dont know what the fuck is his duty about so there you go.

Yeah, whenever I read an analysis of Inter's situation there has always been that argument against Inter & Roma's foreign owners being absent from Italy (even though I believe Steven Zhang is doing a good job representing his family) so I don't know how this will work out if Sabatini is residing in China or traveling constantly.

I'm hoping for the best though.

yes he has Iturbe,Doumbia and other misfires I'm aware,he is human and makes mistakes too...but overall he does his job well...

anyway...Sabatini is gonna operate from Milano not China,he has people working for him who will operate there and report to him back to Italy.

Why doesn't he just take Aids' job? I'd feel more confident about Inter if he was in charge of our transfers, rather than aids or Suning's friends.

I don't like that double duty idea either.
