Who plays better in RB (Zanetti vs Maicon)

Maicon the attackling RB, JZ the defensive RB, but judging from what we have seen Maicon was better in attack than in defense and Zanetti was better in defence rather than attack (except in case if dribbling), what a paradox
Macon the RB can't defend while Zanetti, the RM can't attack (all in relative terms of course)

zanetti's style IMHO is more a centre-back trapped inside a fullback/winger/DM role

zanetti has once or twice played CB when we're short on defenders and didnt do too badly on those occasions

only setback for zanetti to ever become a fulltime CB is that he doesnt win a lot of headers

maybe zanetti should consider turning into a sweeper, be another burgnich and he could with his versatility

heck, if i were really ambitious, id try getting zanetti to become a modern-day, beckenbauer-style libero as he does possess the dribbling skills

with how deep we defend, its not that far-fetched to see zanetti in that role
