Since I was 6 years old I am interista. In the early school years my friends always laughed at me (I am italian, my friends are fans of Juventus and Milan) after probably every derby or every season they won the scudetto and I didn't win anything. But I said everytime, that Inter is my team. If they win the scudetto or not has no influenze to rest nerazzurro. Now I am 23 years old and Inter became a very very strong team with a good management. :)

I was an Inter fan since i was born i admit, even thought the difference where i was borned (germany) and the place where I come from (kosovo) would've made in other ocassions a strong inffluence against the interism i cultivated. I became a TRUE nerazzuro thanks to my coussin who would die for Inter. I cried first for Inter when Adriano scored the wining goal against Milan with his head in the last second. That was one of my best moments in my life. From that moment, i said i am forever Nerazzuro and as a Nerazzuro, now I am very happy cause i have the oportunity to unleash, defy, slam and atack hard the Rosodicks (rosoners) and those who come from Juventus, Barcelona is also in that circle.

Inter in my country is not as loved as Milan, but...That's not a problem, more haters add more Inter love to me:)...

Thank You.

Because my father was a fan of Grande Inter in 60s. I followed his footsteps and I am very happy with it. One regret though...my father died two years ago without seeing this year grand slam. He would have been very happy.

Because when i was younger i took Inter Skarf from my dad's car by accident, when he noticed it he gifted it to me.
My father and almost my whole familly live in Italy and i don't see them very often. The Inter skarf is the reason i feel a little bit connected to my father.
So when i support Inter i feel connected to him.
(Whole my familly who live in Italy are Interisti's)

1989 - Knew this lovely club as their dented their bloody neighbors domination in Serie A... with the likes of Giuseppe Bergomi, Aldo Serena, Nicola Berti, Andreas Brehme & Lothar Matthäus. To be honest, the first Italian team that I knew is AC Milan because of the Dutch Trio (Gulitt, V Basten & Rijkaard) and they reign supreme in that decade (most people riding their band wagon) but when I knew their rivalries with Inter as 1989 Nerazzurri claim the final scudetto crown before the dark decade, I'm thinking "Wow! This team can stop the mighty Milan!" (As I always go with the underdogs). I was 8 years old back then where you cannot get info of Serie A easily on your tv station... I'm only depending on the newspapers which rarely show Serie A news. Therefore I've lost contact & lots of info for a while with Inter but still struggle to get to em.

1998 - A year before that Inter sign Ronaldo... The greatest player on earth that time... that time, the newspaper covers all Inter news everyday... hence the internet were not so booming in Malaysia that time (my family still did not susribe to it yet) and I just can imagine that Inter can won anything with Ronaldo... but I'm wrong... (We still win UEFA Cup back then) the scudetto & champions league is still far from sight... in a present year, we've bought Roberto Baggio! Again there's some hope for bigger trophy but still far from sight... it's so painful... especially when we lost to Man U in the quarter final of Champions League. A year after that we've bought Christian Vieri... not hoping anymore but I like the line-up and the list of superstars that got into our team goes on... but my heart is getting 'Blacker & Bluer'... certainly not a glory hunter am I right?

2000 - Still supporting Inter...Always keep an eye on em... If there's an Inter game I watched it anyway... by now I've already make some analysis of my own about this black & blue team... what is going wrong, what went wrong... until...

2006 - Jubontot (what I used to called Juventus - it's a mix of word of Butt & Ass in Malay) had been stripped their scudetto title as a result of calciopoli! Now I know why we're not winning anything back then... therefore after they've been relegated to B & Bbilan were deducted some points, we're easily crowned champion but it is an easy fight for me... ok wait until another year... Jubontot & AC Moron back into contention...still we're champion, still I feel they're crippled a little bit... ok! another year for them where Jubontot bought Diego & AC Moron bought Ronaldinho... still we're champion??? Ahhh... when they are not using the referee that favours on em, they're not that strong eh?

2010 and forever - The defining moment for me as a long time supporters of this team when we won this treble... it's like a big reward for a long wait and a blessing for my loyalty for Inter. We've made history as the first Italian team who won the tripletta! Forza Nerazzurri!!! Grande Inter!!! C'e Solo Inter!!!

It's the first foreign team I knew when I started to watch football games. At that time(1998), Ronald, the first world player I knew, was palying for Inter. Then I loved it with no other reason.

The reason I became an Inter fan is a goal by Zamorano, a header. I was 6 years old when I seen it, and ever since then I never stopped loving Inter. Ofcourse Zamo wasn't the best player, and he's not my favorite, but he is the real reason anyway.

I became an inter fan in 2008 very randomly. I was buying jerseys in Ecuador on vacation and everyone told me to buy a club team jersey (because I kept buying country jerseys).

After looking at over 40+ jerseys in the shops, I thought Inter's jersey looked the best so I bought it and eventually looked up the team. I didn't even realize what the Scudetto represented at all. Eventually through research and internet, I found out what the tradition and team is all about. I've been a fan ever since July 2008.

i chose to support inter for their original ideology on the diversity of their players. 'doctor' made a good point about those that struggle to establish their "home" or find themselves often feeling like a foreigner in certain situations being attracted to the values of internazionale. i've lived in 7 cities around the world (i was an f-1 international student when i moved to the u.s.) so that understanding is close to my heart. as 'theTRONT' put it, "we are the brothers of the world" which attracts me to the inter fans in a cosmopolitan sense :)
inter is my team also because of the appeal in the colors of the jersey (favorite color blue), especially the design of my favorite so far - the 2008 edition (gold lettering and accents).

i pledged to the nerazzuri because i wanted to commit to a team that wasn't a typical soccerfan bandwagoner magnet but at the same time had respectable success and a few star players. i finally had the opportunity to visit the san siro last month (i walked from lotto-fiera), so with that my affiliation has at last manifested :p

i find it strange that wikipedia says the majority of milan fans tend to be "working-class migrants" and inter fans are more "bourgeoisie", because the origin statement of purist prejudice against internationals aswell as the milan berlusconi connection of lavi$h exce$$ sounds more like a snobbish upper-class club than working-class to me (just compare the style of the changing rooms!)...
..nevertheless, forza il grande inter!

With the maid?!?

You must be richer than Han if your maid goes to Rome for a break.

Since you are now here for some time, I want to make a few jokes.

This is as good a place as any for my first post. I am a new Inter fan. I am from the Philadelphia area and I am a big supporter of my home team ( Union/MLS ) . But I like watching the European football. My brother follows Inter a bit ( not as much as me now though ). When my wife went to Milan for a worktrip a few years back my brother asked her to pick him up some Inter socks . So she did, she also bought me a Inter 1908 100 year aniversery t shirt. A while after that I happen to catch Inter on foxSoccer channel and I've been watchin ever since. Kinda stupid I guess, but whatever . Ya gotta have a reason to start watching a team at some time.

cheers
