I've been an Inter fan since the early 90's. Here in Ireland we had highlights of Serie A every monday night. At that time we had no coverage of English football on terrestrial tv.

It changed after a few years we had no coverage of Seire A and coverage of the Premier League. It wasn't until the late 90's when we got cable and had the UK's Channel 4 that I could watch Serie A again. Inter were still my team and I was able to continue my support of them.

When Channel 4's coverage stopped, I was unable to watch Inter. Thankfully about 2 years ago I got broadband and was able to watch the Nerazzuri again.

Inter have been second to Liverpool for me, its mainly due to not been exposed to Inter as much as Liverpool whilst growing up. Although I've been an Inter fan longer than i've been a Liverpool fan.

I always thought Liverpool we're number one by a long way but I had real mixed emotion last year during the CL matches. I felt a real numbness about the Reds win.

I'd like to think that without the Premier Legaue being shoved down our throats here in Ireland that I'd only be an Inter fan.

Forza Inter!!

Normally i wouldn't accept 2nd grade fans, but your story is quite unique and that's why i will give you the benefit of the doubt.

And how about Liverpool-Inter, who where you supporting last year?
Actually it didn't really matter right? because you already where true the next phase with one or the other!!

Welcome on the forum!! and enjoy some sarcasm, fun, pessimism, love and hate of many interista and non interinsta's!!

I was supporting Liverpool, but I didn't celebrate the goals, I was giving out about the red cards aswell. It was all very strange.

Yeah I suppose I had a team already through, would've been nice if they didn't hadn't play each other though. Hope they don't get drawn together this year until the final!

This is my first post in this forum, i have been a regular in the goal inter forum's. I started becoming an inter fan 6 years ago.My father a juventus fan and my cousins ac milan fans. Like other fans i admired the colors of the black and blue, but what i really liked was the south american flare and mixed nationalities, inter stands out amongst other clubs and thats what i admired about it. I can't stand arrogant fans and when i hear all these a.c milan fans bicker and brag, i know that the real class comes from the inter fans.

Welcome. You give an impression of a very smart guy :)

(The mixed nationalities is also one of the things that drawn me to Inter)

Anyways, if you would like to do a proper introduction, you can do it here :)

ps. "I can't stand arrogant fans and when i hear all these a.c milan fans bicker and brag, i know that the real class comes from the inter fans." - There is not even a question about it ;)

My first encounter with Inter was in 1995 when I played FIFA 95 for SEGA...I just loved those black and blue colours and the team was made really good. I was only a kid back then, but I loved them. Then came the year 1998, we had some Serie A coverage since an year...and I watched all Inter matches broadcasted, although I didn't like some of the players back then (Sforza for example). After the transfer of Ronaldo, who I enjoyed watching in Barca, my full support began...I can say that my heart turned black and blue that year, especially after our UEFA triumph! FORZA INTER!

I just remember my dad watching Inter games when I was 3 and himself telling me not to like Milan and Juve. So I just kept watching the games with him and began a fan.:boogy:

I support Inter because we decided to turn our Champions League trophy room to a bar....I mean we might have to drink straight from the bottle because we only have two cups but it's still loads of fun :drunk:

to tell you the truth
as far as i remember, i was obsessed with giggs and manu
i had his jersey and whenever i played football i take the same position as his, try to trully mimic his game play.
and ppl started simply calling me giggs

and then i actually didnt feel theres a competition in EPL.im a very competitive person. and i new theres a BIG club who couldnt collect a trophy for 20+(?) years

by the time ronaldo left them and i slowly began to like the club, now im obsessed with them

And now that Inter can perhaps win a trophy for the 4th year in a row, will you become Milanista? ;)

I didn't choose Inter,It's something that just happend.
It's all started for me in the early 90' as a way to enjoy time with my grandfather, who loved the team, and for myself for loving football at a very early age.he even took to a few matches.

Anyway, when I grew older my love for the team had grown from the one of a kid who love the colurs to something a lot more serious after I learned the history of the club.

Although Inter made me(and a few other millions of people) suffer,I still and will love the team 'till the grave!and even more!

c'e solo inter!!!

I'm Welsh and generally Welsh people like rugby more than football. My first sport was, is and always will be... rugby and my favourite team is Cardiff. I have supported them since 4/5 years old. Anyway, I didn't get into football till I was about 11 and Sky Sports had the Premiership and with my Dad refusing to pay for it I had to watch Italian football which was free on C4. I looked for a team to support, and as Inter have the same colours as Cardiff that was the choice; since then I've grown to love them. Lucky I didn't see Atalanta first haha! Forza il biscione.

You're a retard if you believe that. I would never hope for any Inter player to fail, let alone a black man. I am and has always been for the underdogs. If you had spent more than a second in the political section of the forum you would know that. But you haven't because you're a little twitty vitamin C noob that don't know anything. Besides, Ibra RULZ!!!! regardless of how Eto'o does at Inter.:D

It's funny how I am a "noob" to this forum and I can already tell you love Ibra more than Inter. What does being a black man have anything to do with it...are you black also, that's the only reason why I could see that making a difference??
