Wonders for whom?...The trophy cabinet or someone's insomnia?

And let's not forget that the better side in that final was not the Azzurri...They were merely a headbutt from being the 'deserved' winners...But, alas, I digress

the spanish should try it sometime, they might actually win one. plus the only insomnia im having is from counting the days to madrid.

This is ridiculous? Is it Matrix fault that Zizou isnt man enough and is selfish to think about his honor first rather than the country in a world cup final thats supposed to be his crowning glory, his last game?

Sport, for me (And I imagine for many), is more than just about winning

That's good for you, for the other 95% we prefer winning over style any day.

Love to see those stats, btw, on how 95% was determined.

And being more than about winning doesn't translate to simply a style issue but sportsmanship, as well

You mean like not diving and pretending you are injured when you are fine or maybe kicking the ball out when a player is down injured instead of attacking with 11 v 9??

I think we should get lessons on sportsmanship from someone else rather than a Barca supporter...

By that school of 'logic', most of you lot would benefit a great deal from a lesson on sportsmanship.

It's juvenile to try and label Barca or it's supporters as lacking sportsmanship from a couple of isolated incidents...But, I've already seen there's a consistent sentiment of flaming among some posters here

dude your denial is clearly clouding your judgement. how can you fathom several major acts of unsportsmanship "a couple of isolated incidents". im sorry but the more you argue the worse it gets.

barca showed the utter lowness in sportsmanship this year and for you to still continue your argument for thier case has been ridiculed among posters here. please try not to get that mixed up with flaming.

Definie sportmanship. As long as my side doesn't involve themselves in dopping or match fixing I am perfectly comfortable with them using any trick allowed within the rules to win.

The 95% is quite easy most fans of sides would want his side to win no matter the style. He would rather win than lose while implementing a certain style.

If you really want I can open a poll here and we can see the results.;)

A poll in this forum where results are often achieved in an 'ugly' way is merely going to support 95% claims among Inter fans...I mean over all

You could go and ask the same question at most forums and you will get the same answer. The clubs who prefer stylish football even if they lose above winning ugly is small. People want to win, that's what football is about. Most managers get fired for not delivering results not because they played boring football.

Again, it's that point I'd be most curious about...I think a lot more fans out there care about the way the game is played & more than just winning than you have predicted

Some managers get fired, despite winning (Capello) but failing to do more than just win

Capello failed more than once to win the Champions League. He only won it once, with Ac Milan in 1994...... in all other occasions silver medals or worse

Except, he churned out a Liga crown from Barca out of RM and was promptly let go...Winning, does not necessarily guarantee job security as Stefan suggested

RM's state is for a variety of reasons but it doesn't change the reality that winning does not guarantee job security
