So, its Moratti back in charge of most transfers... sigh.

In the Gazzetta it says Eto'o and 42 million for Ibra.

What are the possibilities of Zlatan Ibrahimovic going to play for Barcelona?
"There's no need for percentages. I think it's to do with the desire of the player and the rapport that exists between myself and Laporta. We will see."

What the fuck do we want with Eto'o, it's blatantly obvious he couldn't replicate his Barcelona scoring record at Inter, much less so WITHOUT fucking Ibra.

It doesn't look good... You want percentages? IMO 99.9% that he goes... Ibra wants Barca badly.

not trying to shoot down your post or anything, but credibility of sport is about equal to 'the Sun' which basically is none. Let's wait a little more.

First of all, I'd like to thank enrico for letting me join. As you may have guessed, I am a Barça supporter. Well, it looks like Ibra has signed for Barça, or is very close to doing so. Yes, Sport can be a very unreliable source but I am more than convinced this transfer will be confirmed by both clubs in the next few hours. I imagine some of you will be quite disappointed but it looks like you have Eto'o & Hleb (Both will succeed in Italy IMO) in the bag along with €40M. Your thoughts on the transfer?

PS: I'm sure my club are more than grateful for how well your club has handled the transfer of both Maxwell & now Ibra. Thanks again for letting me join!

Eto'o lacks a vital skill in playing 433. A vision to utilize two WF besides him, which Pep dearly looked for, and will surely have if you guys do get Ibra.

Mourinho seems to be going for 433 this season, and Inter will have same problem from what you guys had, and purely rely on the midfield to produce since Eto'o won't be creating anything.

Sadly, we don't have Ini or Xavi and our midfield produces close to nothing. We are more closer to lpool which goes straight for mudfight instead of linking up passes.

If we get Ibra, Inter's WF will probably get isolated and collapse. I see nothing good in Eto'o's signing.

Hleb is apparently a loan deal, so it's 40m+etoo and a purchase option for hleb :/ kinda sucks. I'd rather get 70m straight forward, no etoo

This deal is not good for both party i think. Ibra is not as lethal as Etoo in front of goal and Etoo is not as creative as Ibra. Like many mentioned, our MF is not comparable to Barca and getting Etoo will not do us any good if we cannot provide him with decent cross/pass. Milito-Etoo is going to be a disaster without proper midfield.

I hope this deal does not go through unless we got a clear plan. Like using the 40 mil and get Fabregas/Silva etc. Even then, I am not sure if we can successfully replace Ibra. Not sure if the following is viable....

-----------JC----------
Maicon-Lucio-Samuel-JZ
------Cambiasso-------
Hleb---------------Silva
-------Fabregas--------
---Etoo--------Milito---

The option of getting Hleb on loan as the part of THIS deal is stupid. That will decrease the deal to around 65 m. If it was permanent it could be more than 70 m and it's not a bad deal.

With that 40 m we can go for Ribery, Fabregas, Cassano or Silva.

This is a fantastic deal! We've not only rid ourselves of a proven choker, but also his HUGELY inflated contract. 40 million euros is a lot of money and something we apparently didn't have. Not we can bid for Cassano and Hernanes.

Grazie Ibra! I love you for all the joy you brought me and all Interista in your time but you made you choice and i hope you get everything you wanted.

I've always said that this transfer will be a bad deal for both clubs. inter needs Ibra and Barca needs Eto'o or D.Villa. Getting Ibra makes no sense for them, they should have tried much harder for Ribery or Villa. I think this transfer will most probably go through, to the chagrin of both sets of fans. We MIGHT be able to benefit from this if we manage to sign Eto'o and Cassano but there is too much uncertainty for that. Plus, we already bought D.Milito so getting Eto'o might create unnecessary competition or Eto'o being used as the RF in Mou's 433. A bad transfer in overall for both teams.

WTF?!?! Can't be fucking happening. Oh christ I'm pissed. Was emily right after all??? We are seriously fucked up. We need some serious reinforcement to our midfield if we want to play in same level as with Ibra. Cassano, hopefully coming, is just ain't enough, he's totally different than Ibra and can't handle all the stuff Ibra could.

Oh, man this was all ready back then. Ibra smiling "I know where I'm gonna play" fuck fuck fuck...:(

Like I said before. It wouldn't take long for Ibra to show us his true colors.

It's funny Barca is offering the same price they offered for Villa but they're including their best striker (Eto'o) in the deal for Ibra too. Kinda weird!

Eto'o is worth 20m€ MAX. His contract expires next summer and he's in open fight with the Barcelona management. Goddman try to squeeze +10m€ Moratti at least! Goddamn I'm pissed.

And all the Zlatan defenders and calm downers can go fuck themselves, this is what I was talking about all the time. Why the fuck it has go this way maaaan! Going to America didn't meant SHIT apparently...
