I still don't understand why we didn't keep Motta (and Sneijder). He was perfect for Serie A and is EXACTLY what we're lacking.

Motta wanted to leave the summer before we sold him, but we didn't. It's not like it's rumor, Motta himself said it. But in january we had to sell because he wanted to be sold. And keeping unhappy player that wants out - no good.

Motta had a premonition that Inter would turn from a treble winner to CL qualification contender, and so he chose to left.

So first the price was 8, then they up it to 12 with 15 buyout clause. Then the buyout clause is no longer 15, but he can be had for 18. Now the price is 20......

Now I remember why I hated having Inter try deals with Brazilian clubs.

Screw this, unless Paulinho pushes to be sold this isn't happening. Lets just look elsewhere.

Now reportedly (from Michael's blog), we possibly want to release Coutinho for getting Paulinho. This guy better to be worth a shot, if not we'll see so much facepalm around here for the sacrifice to bring him here.

first we offer 2.5 and the 3.5 an then 4.5

Paulinho costs 15-18mil as you guys said. If we only throw in Jonathan, we'd only be able to reduce that 1-2mil max. Considering how little we seem to use Coutinho, and the fact that his progress seemed stalled this season, there is always a possibility that we'd use him as a bargain chip.

Not that I am supportive of this idea.
