STRAMA-CASSANO: HANDS ON

Incredible, this opens a crack between the relationship of FantAntonio and Inter. Will be he on the field tomorrow?
Fight in the dressing room: yelling, provocations, and shoving. It was up to other players to separate them. Today Moratti to intervene.

STRAMA-CASSANO FIGHT AND HANDS ON
YELLING, PROVOKING, SHOVING IN THE DRESSING ROOM

The fiery Inter training session ended with the two separated by teammates and Cordoba.
Today it is up to Moratti to attempt calming them down.

There was the “bbene bbene” (good good). But yesterday was male male (bad bad). There was a fight between Andrea Stramaccioni and Antonio Cassano in the dressing room after training: a big argument resulted in the two almost took a swing at each other and the rushing of those that were near them allowed the situation to not escalate even further. And only the intervention of Massimo Moratti personally today, will perhaps recompose the two individuals. A reconciliation at least temporary for the interest of the team which needs Cassano’s contribution on the field. An attempt to end the season without even more obstacles given the injuries and negative results that have already put Inter on an uphill battle.

Increase in tension The fight was born at the end of training yesterday morning, not on the field even though perhaps the first sparks were lit on the way back to the dressing room. The progress bar of tension was filling up slowly by Stramaccioni and Cassano: word after word, provocation after provocation. A classic exchange of words born from differences in opinion: a problem of two fierce personalities who cannot always speak their mind. The problem was that when one of the two passed the danger level, it would undoubtedly turn to being physical. And indeed it happened, after some yelling and shoving, the two came to blows. At that point, it was up to the intervention of third party to ensure that there would not be even more serious after-effects. Among the most active to separate the two were Stankovic and team manager Ivan Cordoba.

Only frictions The honeymoon between Cassano and Inter is already over? For many times, Inter fans have heard the “you will see what Cassano will do” especially from the Milan fans. But after a few months when everything went so smoothly, well there has only been minor incidents with FantAntonio involved. From the small altercation on the field with Guarin in Udine to take a free kick to when he was substituted out in the match between Inter and Pescara (2-0). That time Cassano was visibly annoyed and bothered. But the coach was always more or less successful, maybe he was already walking on the wire, to ensure that those episodes would not disrupt the balance of the group. It was the Bari born player, after the loss of Milito, who the coach assigned to the central forward role in a 4-2-3-1 and certainly minutes is something that should not be the root of the problems.

Renewal at risk?
The fact is that for a long time, these two men were linked by an unbreakable bond and now they will have to fix it in the next few days. Starting with the face to face meeting today that Moratti will have with the two protagonists of the story, continue with the trip to Catania (will Cassano receive a call-up?) and finally end with the extension of contract. For that renewal, talks have already started to renew until 2015. However, this is something that can no longer be taken for granted.

Man... How the f can Cassano dare give his opinion on tactical stuff to his fucking coach? He's PAID for this shit, just do your job and shut the fuck up. If this is what happened, and Cassano provoked Strama in addition, he should be fined and suspended, no matter how important he is for the team, this is unacceptable.

Fuck strama tbh. When a player give question and critic for his tactical knowldge whom we know it always change week after week, that's when the player gets fed up. Maybe only Cassano who has ball and being vocal to Strama while others choose to keep their mouth shut, play safe and waite for Moratti and management to sack him.

What do you think, will strama stay after this " next season " if we get to CL, or will he still stay ?

Your right in a way, some of the big margin loses specialy vs Siena was Strama to blame, the way he handel the players, " tactics " he used Shcelotto as RWB and a lot more error come from his side. The game vs Fiorentina, was a bit of brilliance from them, as Fiorentina havnt never played that well as they did vs us. I only see this kind of errors from the coach not the players, and right now its best if we get a new coach at the end of the season

Repubblica.it confirms - "There was a clash with high pitched tones. At the end of training, the two individuals started the dialogue with a very normal tone. Then, word by word, all went into the dressing room until the arrival of teammates to separate Strama and Cassano."

Even if the coach is "wrong" the players need to follow his directives and shut up, the only one who can judge Stramas work is Moratti. The players need to do their job and shut up, they are paid for exactly that.

Andrea Sorrentino, Repubblica journalist: "The discussion between Stramaccioni and Cassano started with cautious tones. Then, everything escalated all the way to the dressing room. Between the two, (the relationship) is broken."

Guess it was only a matter of time when Cassano would flip off and ruin everything.

I bet MM told him to shut up because we need Cassano. So it was a "normal disagreement and a productive discussion."

What is not acceptable is having a fight with the manager.

HOWEVER

I Really want to know what this is over. No one has mentioned what started it.

Fine him, if he's apologetic then dont suspend him, and take away his contract renewal.
