Only at Inter Management do you see them making same mistakes over and over and if we qualify for champions league you will see the management say: "see the team is strong we don't need any reinforcements" then see Chivu and Stanko get new contracts. Same mistakes over and over. The Marijuana the management is smoking to make them this delusional is insane. Cassano is good player but he can't play every game full 90 mins due to health problems why not just give him 1 year extension At most, while looking for a younger and good attacking midfielder to replace him as he can't play at such a high tempo in the long run. Its just I think the obvious thing to do.

comparing casano to chivu and stanko please cassano is magic in a second he can turn the game around same way pirlo does for jube and pirlo does not run that much and when he looses the ball he stands to totti does to. we have kovacic and kuzmanovic but we still play alvarez zanneti and cuchu in midifield

People here are fucking delusional.

For 60 good minutes a match this guy has 8 goals and 8 assists for how many matches? Our leading assist man and second best striker after Milito [9 goals].

He can be really valuable for another year or two. The smart thing to do here is to keep his wage as it is or maybe even lower it a bit but present big assist/goalscoring bonuses.

Indeed, we also have to think of potential replacement now who would rotate with him in the next few seasons.

Best if they have similar characteristics, that would make the transition seamless and the tactical changes less radical.

Players over 30 should only be signed on a year to year basis as their mid to late 20's contracts wind down tbh. Cassano has a contract till June 2014. Talks about an extension should be put on hold for a good long while to see how he performs next season for us.

This club might be one of the more ridiculous in football when it comes to contract extensions and wages. See Chivu and Stankovic as the more recent examples. I can't wait to see what they give Campagnaro, whom I'm assuming is 99% coming. Guaranteed he's getting a contract that will leave him at 35 or 36 years young by the time it's over.

He doesn't run much, leaves his strike partner isolated, plus he is weak, slow and unfit. Cassano does many great things, but he causes many issues as well. Also, statistics can be can be deceiving. He has so many goals and assists partly because typically our strikers are the only players anywhere near the opposition goal.

I personally think he should be sold in the summer because I don't think it's coincidence that he hasn't won much in his career. To me he is the definition of a luxury player. He does great things, but at the same time him being on the park is often detrimental to the team's cause. I would however like the idea of him being an impact player in the future.

Appearantly him and Strama got into a fight, pushing each other, other players had to separate them. What happened to their bromance?

BREAKING NEWS - Fight broke out between Andrea Stramaccioni and Antonio Cassano. A lot of shoving and yelling with both had their hands on the other. At the end, had to be separated by the players. Today, Moratti will intervene.

the whole system is rigged tbh

Tbh Id rather both of them leave at the end. Cassano is great the first 20-30 mins, but hes close to 31, with his fitness, and wages, not worth it.

Wow, what happened?

I would have expected this to happen around the time of consecutive draws and defeat, not really after a couple of wins and a draw against Milan.

But Cassano was always a bomb, no matter how much he matured from the past. It's just a matter of when it would explode and how baneful the explosion is.

I hope it'd be solved ASAP though, we simply need him in the lineup, otherwise it'd exacerbate our somewhat already poor season.

I guess he snapped at the thought of playing 90+ minutes every game.
