According to Michael, according to Sky, Cassano might miss the derby.

CdS says he's going to start :oblivious:

FUCK THE MEDIA! thank Michael

if we came to creativity, Kovačić and Alvarez are very creative players. Even Kuzma

Yep, but they don't get enough chances to show it. Kova can't really show his creativity playing so behind, he needs to play way deeper.
Ricky doesn't get to start at all in the league, and is mostly subbed on when we are losing....

I agree that Cassano has been our only creative force so far this season (along with Guarin, who has been way too inconstant), but it is not new, has been like this since the begin of the season.

We can play way better football than we are doing currently, you could see a bit of it a few days ago at Cluj.
Lets just hope Strama will have the balls to play a little bit more offensive - it took him some time to realize that playing players out of thier original position does us only bad, but there is atleast 2 more of them left.

We showed again today why we wont succeed if we have to rely on someone as inconsistent and unfit as Cassano. Great player, but so many huge weaknesses in his game too which not only impedes his performance, but the team's too. Especially when we have as few advanced players as we do.

I remember Football Manager rated 20 for his "important matches". :yao: (not sure which version)

He's simply too much of a 'luxury player'. We have to carry him around the park in hope that he'll deliver moments of magic while disregarding the fact that he doesn't defend, that he doesn't run, and that he forces his strike partner to basically pull a double shift. Although, who knows how few goals we would have scored without him this year. I just hope that he isn't anything more than an impact player in future seasons.

Given his heart condition and his age, the last two weeks have been really harsh on Cassano.

Talk about a management that sent Livaja on loan and get Rocchi (who can't even be on the EL list...) Brilliant.

If Cassano could get some rest against Cluj on Thursday, it would have been a much more different story.

4231 with this mofo so he doesn't gas out, and let palacio do all the work.. also we seriously need some speed, because cassano drains it out when he has to run with it

also, what is this infatuation of his in him dropping deep in order to send crosses to the already isolated Palacio who isn't much of an aerial threat? Especially when none of our midfielders make driving runs into the box or anything?

Can't blame him. He can hardly breathe. I blame the stupid management who thought we have a good enough attack. A bunch of 30+ year olds is not good you morons!!!!

No use in discussing Cassano anymore. After todays game I think he will die of exhaustion anyway.

R.I.P.

All the time. Everywhere. One of the most intelligent players. It's a shame he can't last a full match.

Intelligent? I think he's rather stupid, but he has great vision. An intelligent player would have understood by now that he needs to change his game a little to suit the team. Running off out to the wing in order to send crosses into Palacio who is marked by 5 players doesn't jump out at me as being 'intelligent'

That's rather a 'team' problem. No positioning whatsoever. It's mostly individual performances, otherwise we would've been way better. As for Cassano, he's one of 2-3 best players we have.

I think he was actually pretty good vs. Milan. Every touch of his either resulted in an opportunity for us to attack or drew a foul/yellow card. He was silky as fuck and I never saw him try and do something retarted like Guarin always does.
