Just paid a visit to merda forum
They said de sciglio was raped by naga
And here naga was raped by de sciglio
So who's raping who?

It's FIF. I have no idea where they saw Naga getting raped by De Sciglio. De Sciglio didn't put one good cross. Yeah he took the ball from naga on few occasions, and i remember 2 times where he managed to dribble past naga. But that's far from raping.

Naga did well. He's not a great defender, but in attack his off the ball work is fantastic. He's central to any success we have under Mazzarri.

ROFL the count to my article spikes suddenly right after Nagatomo became the captain http://irequis.wordpress.com/2012/11/24/captain-of-next-generation-of-inter-milan/ :trollol:

Regarding his duel with Sciglio, I think it is quite even battle.
Sciglio defended his flank well, but cannot utilise Naga's defensive fragility.
Naga himself was very wasteful when he took on Sciglio at sideline, but he was the few among our players who managed to try something for goal by drifting to middle.

Not FIF as a whole. It's just pencilpal.com, a site sending the same spam message to this thread after every match. :palm:

i honestly thought he started shaky at first but slowly improved his game over time to the point they were having a hard time containing his runs down the flank

I actually thought he was turbo-cized quite awhile before that. When did he put it over the net while Palacio was waiting for the pass in the box ... wasn't that long before Cambiasso went out?

He was not bad before Cambi's exit - played good as much as his capabilities allowed him. I got annoyed though over those shots when he was thinking he was Guarin lol. But what I saw particularly after he got the armband, it was like a different Nagatomo: wild, running like a madman. I liked that.

He has quite good numbers in statistics.

Though he has an incredible stamina and tenacity, but still needs to improve on his dribbling, crossing and maybe shooting if he continues to try more like that. His efforts and runs when going forward were really good, a thing to be appreciated.

Like I said few times earlier, the guy is a very lovable player who doesn't posess enough quality, but then again he's still an useful player for Mazzari's tactics.

You should update your blog though, match where those players play as one match captain like yesterday

He was incredibly productive against Milan, don't get me wrong, and I see no reason to replace him with this kind of form

However, it's UNDENIABLE that De Sciglio got the better of him defensively on a number of occasions

Again, he really can't convincingly take players on singlehandedly, especially compared to someone like (eg.) Zuniga; his dribbling and crossing NEEDS improvement, and at times his shot accuracy was Guarin-esque.

Nonetheless it's nice to see Mazzarri capitalizing on his strengths, and his energy is absolutely invaluable to our game.

Not even joking.. If that was Naga playing for Napoli vs Milan or something of the like everyone would be going crazy about him and wanking all day.

But does that change anything about my opinion?

His contributions to our offence are valued, but he directly contributes fairly inconsistently (shooting, vision, crossing, dribbling etc)

His off the ball movement is probably his biggest strength, but his dribbling is probably one of his worst attributes

Moreover, Nagatomo's crossing in the offensive third tends to be extremely reliant on his right foot.

Naga has been atleast good, IMO great, but it's debatable. Anyone saying otherwise needs his head checked. He started every dangerous attack of ours, including the one that led to the goal and he should have had an assist aswell as Palacio missed our 2nd best chance. Yeah ik he has to defend aswell, and he was pretty solid in that matter. If he manages to improves his defending abilities, he will become the best WB in Italy, he's already there attacking wise.

Let's not be critical when it's not due alright?

On my phone so I cant quote it properly, so appologies if this reply is confusing.

Inconsistently? From what I can see he is racking up goals and assists. That is as direct contribution as it gets.

Dribbling? He is a left back by trade, ok, he is not Jordi Alba, but from my point of view its perfectly exceptable and indeed quite good. The point about the reliance on his right is fair enough, however, again - he gets goals and assists. And lots of them. Therefore I don't see how he deserves so much criticism.

A more valid critique of him would be his huge lack of strength and not brilliant defensive positioning. Its confusing to me how his doubters don't focus on those points and not the invalid complaints about his dribbling or whatever.

You can't judge Nagatomo off a purely statistical perspective. Yes, his stats are quite attractive, but they prove close to nothing tbh.

Jorginho has 5+ goals in Serie A atm. Does that imply he's direct in his contributions to the attack, that he's prone to making numerous attempts on goal?

Ofc not.

Nagatomo's relative lack of physicality isn't as much an issue as his inconsistency in the offensive third imo. Moreover, the defensive points have been already brought up quite frequently in the past.

I didn't know the phrase 'didn't lose' is equivalent to getting raped.

Maybe we have some different understanding of English.
