Its not about what he wants, its about Inter's needs. We don't care if he goes to a side where he'll rot on the bench. We simply need cash. Its either through 3rd place or Icardi. He ends up with 18 Serie A goals and Pool surely will come up with a good solid cash offer.

I don't get this Destro being an all round player when Roma fans keep complaining about him crap apart from goalscoring. His pass % is the same as Icardi's, and gets even less key passes per game than him looking at his other seasons. He never striked me as an all around player when watching him either.

We can afford Cavani and Dybala? Also, I've defended Destro a lot, but this season his all-round game has been very poor. Did you watch him yesterday? He was utterly useless around the park.

Look, some comments from roma fans about yesterday's game:

I'll take a 38 yr old who can't run over a 23 yr old who can't control a ball every day of the week.

Destro is nothing more than a poacher, I can't remember a player who is so useless outside the box. It's like playing with 10 players and a traffic cone up front.

If someone wants Destro so bad...sell him. He has lost all enthusiasm to play and is probably pissed off about sitting on the bench week in week out. Being told you're important and then never playing is damaging.

Btw...Nico Lopez is better than Destro

I did remember thinking that Destro's overall game was quite good last season, so maybe it is a bit of a confidence thing.

I think sometimes pass % can be deceiving. Osvaldo's passing percentage is about the same as Icardi, but there is no doubt his ability to pass and create for others is far superior to Icardi's. Just look at Osvaldo's assists for us. Especially that great pass for Guarin earlier in the season.

Although I'm not defending Destro's passing. He's been shit in that respect this season

Sure it can be deceiving, but Osvaldo has messed up many occasions as well by being lazy and sloppy. Icardi and Osvaldo are at around 75%, Dybala for example has 83%, Messi goes to 87%. So there is SOME correlation. Also looking at key passes/game helps. Although it's useful for regular starters, so you have to go back to a season where they started.

I've noticed a lot of top strikers who are good passers have 1.5+ key passes/game, whereas Icardi and Osvaldo have around 0.8 each when starting regularly. Same for Destro, who sometimes is even lower.

immobile is a beast when countering, but he looks very uncomfortable when teams sit back, which happens a lot vs. us.

a few pages back I read "We should take the 40m, we can get a decent striker for half that amount and invest the rest on the remainder of the team". They key word here is "decent". Decent is just another word for mediocre. Which is exactly what inter are right now. It seems after a long time even some fans are seeking mediocrity.

We must raise and benefit from Icardi's progress as much as we can, not sell him at the first offer. His value will clearly keep on rising, he can offer us years of glory! Look at juBentus, they didn't rush to sell Pogba last year for 40m and now press writes astronomical sums for him...

Keep Icardi, let Destro & Immobile play somewhere else. Why create a problem when not needed? Plus, I would rather sign Gignac for free than pay 20m for Destro :datass:
