10 years of FIFIf he did make a massive mistake that's OK because he is still very young. If he will make some mistakes next season it's OK too, he have time to learn. But Ranochia is 18 milion euro captain who ruined at least three seasons for our defence. First injury, than he can't play with 4, than find a coaches who play with three at the back, than he plays lika a crap too.

10 years of FIFRan was Destro + 12 million which is way way more then 18 million. But again with our management would we have even used Destro if we had kept him and what would we have wasted the 12 million on?

Destro was pegged at 6m in that transfer deal, and tbh it was inflated value so we could book it as extra profit for FFP...

Well since there's someone out their surely that is better for the same price please name them.
It's not like defenders are cheap. They are some of the most costly players in the game. At our level a defender will cost you more than a forward of equal quality on average.
Murillo has 2 seasons in the second best league on earth where he's been highly recognized.
In terms of talent and scouting recognition he's in the realm of Bruno Martins Indi (8m) who played in a worse league, De Vrij (10m) who was the same, there's also players like Matthias Ginter (8m).
There are young defenders of a higher level; Gabriel Silva (20m), Marquinhos (38m), Kurt Zouma (28m), Varane (35m), but these players aren't usually starters at their clubs. Which mean they often have less experience.
Even overseas club defenders cost good money at that age. Diego Reyes cost 7m euros. River Plate wants at least 8m for Balanta or Funes Mori.
Good young defenders do not grow on trees and are not cheap or easily acquired.

It's ok, I could see why you'd make one post defending him and giving reasons why he deserves to be at inter but seeing as this dude is coming in like 5 months you're gonna have a lot of defending to do. Let it go man, he already signed for inter so let him defend himself when he plays next season.

Haha like 3 of us have seen this kid and such a strong debate over him. Most the ones excited are just happy someone to potentially bench Rano.
Didn't we drop 8 million on a random kid from Croatia in the Croatian league?.... A promising defender in the spanish league for that amount is some how a bad move. Like someone said. Promising players arent cheap.
Only reason I know this kid is because he was in the colombian youth team and I have been following his career because the colombian Nt really needed a generational change. I see him as the most promising CB we have had since Yepes(I think he is/was much better then Córdoba). Hope he does well here and continues to get better for county and club.
Just wait till Copa America and you guys will all see what he can do. Find it funny people mention Balanta who plays for River plate that is insanely insanely over rated but a starter In a better league is a scrub haha
