Haha Vidic still starting here but Rano can F off!!! Wow!!!

Haha like 3 of us have seen this kid and such a strong debate over him. Most the ones excited are just happy someone to potentially bench Rano.

Didn't we drop 8 million on a random kid from Croatia in the Croatian league?.... A promising defender in the spanish league for that amount is some how a bad move. Like someone said. Promising players arent cheap.

Only reason I know this kid is because he was in the colombian youth team and I have been following his career because the colombian Nt really needed a generational change. I see him as the most promising CB we have had since Yepes(I think he is/was much better then Córdoba). Hope he does well here and continues to get better for county and club.

Just wait till Copa America and you guys will all see what he can do. Find it funny people mention Balanta who plays for River plate that is insanely insanely over rated but a starter In a better league is a scrub haha

If you're talking about Brozovic, he's hardly random. Played mainly as a starter in the World Cup and in general for Croatia. Funny how to you Brozovic is random yet this guy is promising (not saying this guy isn't, never seen him). Main point being that this guy is Columbian hence to you he's promising but a Croatian guy is random.

Player in Spain plays better league against stronger players. As for Croatia they didn't do very well at the WC. Or why aren't we dropping money on dudes from Costa Rica that did much better or Mexico who got robbed because Robben is a diving cunt?

He had a great game last game but huge gamble for that money from a random league

Kovacic also came from that same league.

Brozovic has played against good opposition too in the World Cup and international games like against Italy. Just because Croatia didn't do well, doesn't mean it has anything to do with Brozovic's performance. Croatia have a habit of performing well against the best sides, but choking in matches against teams they should beat, but are not that bad ie. Mexico as well as Ecuador I believe in 2002.

Also, we did drop money for players that did well at World Cup, see Medel.

Mexico scored 3 legit goals called offsides. Brazil screwed Croatia on the 1st goal but their goalie eat 2 weak ass goals. I was surprised Mexico beat them. But if we are using the Nt argument why aren't we after any players from Costa Rica or US?

8 million for a player from a weak league is a big gamble. Kid looked good in his 1st full match with us and hope he keeps improving. As for KoVa think he is insanely insanely over rated on this forum.

Ahem, it is I who insanely over-rates him. But you're right. He has a terrible touch, poor movement, no pace, poor dribbling etc,. He's already 20 as well. Can't fix him. We should invest in younger players and excercise patience.

Kova cost a lot for a club with no money and is a big gamble that is starting to pay off but people make him sound like he is world class

He is not world class. Has the potential to be... plus the circumstances surrounding Kova was a bit different.. He was more or less a household name for his national team and a couple of European games as well..

I dont follow the Colombian national team but I believe you said he is not a national team regular but Pekkerman sees him as the future?

The gamble aspect is true but that is the case for any given transfer in the world irrespective of reputation, age and achievements.. You can never predict with 100% certainty that player A who performed extremely well at club A will perform extremely well at club B..

Occupational hazard.. Thats just the way it is..

The kid spoke about joining Inter and the difference between relegation battling Granada and a club like Inter who intends to battle for the Scudo next season...

What else did they tell him?! :troll:

No, he has contract with Granada until 30.06.2019.

The [young] author of that article fucked up. If you read carefully, Murillo even contradicts him by saying:

“The clubs already have an agreement. I will end the La Liga season with Granada, then I will move to Inter in the summer. I am still trying to grow and improve while I cope with the current situation and level of commitment. I wan to win a lot with my new team, but first I have to focus on achieving salvation with Granada. “

Trained this week and was on the bench vs Barça so I guess he could get some action soon.

Find me a transfer of a youngish player with wages similar to his who joins a larger club and doesn't get at least twice as much money.
