We tripled his wages and then we are shocked we are broke. Why do we do this with every player. We didn't get into a bidding war for him. The transfer fee was good but then triple the kids wages while injured and give him a 5 year contract?

Because at bigger club, that same player will be under more intense pressure, probably have to play more games in more competitions, attend to more commercial activities, travel around the globe for marketing matches, etc...

Not sure if it's worth 3x more wage though.

He will be making the same wages as Androelli that hardly plays but I think is better then the rest of our CBs. I mean it's not super high especially if he is coming as a potential starter but I just question tripling someone's wages before he plays one game for us. He was at 300k. His team is getting demoted....... Ton of teams interested but we are the only ones who made an offer.

I just don't see how much power he/his agent had in negociatations. Want to come to inter or want to play in 2nd division Spain?

Yeah he could just as easly moved to Udinese or some other club. In fact there were rumors that RuBe and Roma wanted him, it might have been shit rumors but they were out there.

Also saying his wages got tripled doesn't mean much. It's not like he is coming in as the highest earner or something. That's a thing a writer would say to get some clicks.

Didn't start only played the last 30. They scored 2/9 while he was on the field. The Spanish league is a BS. Distribute your TV rights fairly So small teams don't have to bunker then give up. They don't see see a problem with Real and Barca winning every game 3-0,4-0,5-0+?

Why is it such a problem if Madrid scored 9? Have you guys watched the game? Granada tried to play openly with Madrid and it backfired quick. As soon as Cr scored, the whole Granada team was in disarray. With all the attacking drive Madrid have, they did their job very nicely and as expected.
