They asked him will Bona be another regret? And he said no.

Meh I'm not too worried just look at Juve with Zaza they did the same thing.

I wish to talk about how Bonazzoli has disappeared since we sold him.

To be fair he did play / score in the Viareggio final.

I'm worred about him even getting time at Samp. They're stacked up front. Correa was bought for twice as much as Bonazzoli and Miha hasn't even bothered to give him time.

But he was the one out of the two who was getting called up more often before he was sold

I know, thats why I dont really understand it. The best answer I have is that Mancini has shifted the focus of development to Puscas instead of Bonazzoli so we can look at the more immediate returns, and that he doesnt rate Bona as highly (now, perhaps, rather than potential) as Puscas.

I think it's more likely that he is focusing on the player who will be around next season.

Bonazzoli was hosted on Sportitalia's 'Calcio e Mercato' show to talk about his best U21 player award, his potential, and Mancini.

"This is my first individual award so it's obviously really nice."

He was asked if he feels the award is confirmation that he's now hit the big time. He replied: "Not at all. It takes a lot of work to make it to the top and you can be knocked right back down again in an instant. You have to keep grafting if you want to stay up there."

Quizzed about Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini, the Viareggio Cup top scorer explained: "He's the best coach you could have as a youngster. He teaches you so much and helps you to grow both as a footballer and as an individual."

I think Mancini sees a player in Puscas closer to contributing to the first team than Bona, he is after all older. He has also arguably looked better, although I never thought Bona looked bad. This doesn't mean Mancini rates Puscas more, just that he will probably be in the squad again next year and he is probably a bit more physically developed.

Bona to Samp will be intersting. I know they are stacked, but I have a feeling he'll get minutes. I wouldn't panic about them not playing Correa yet. He just came from Argentina, remember how much Juan played his first 6 months? It's not uncommon.

to be fair juan was a bit part player in the brazilian league, and he came for 2.6 million euros, while correa has been a starter with estudiantes, one of the most promising players in argentina, and he signed for something closer to 8 million. though i agree with you

I doubt he's staying in Sampdoria especially when Destro's name is being seriously linked with them.

Expect him loaned to some lower team for his minutes.

Well, as long as he plays and develop it's ok.

Yeah but it makes the sale completely pointless. Samp's president is like a kid in a candy shop he wants every striker. Muriel, Eto'o, Correa. He already had Eder and the other big Italian guy who's name is escaping me for some reason. Now linked to Balotelli, Destro, etc. I don't get why we even sold him now tbh.
