He means being the almost same age as Messi is not so much a sad time as a sad fact of life, whereas I was talking about the time you first become older than a lot of football players. It was just a small problem of phrasing really, and this level of analysis would be totally unnecessary were I not so hungover I couldn't leave my bed.

His situation feels like Oba's a couple of years ago, I still love the guy and want him to succeed here so badly, but sadly even i have to admit that by now he s probably never gonna turn into a class player. Anyway what i want to say rationally i guess it would be best to part ways now, but for emotional reasons I would not mind him staying for another season.

Yeah, I agree. I would like to see him play with better team, with better midfield and then judge about his ability. He have never had that chance so far in Inter. His best years are still ahead of him.

he was solid defensively on the lb. that must be said. if he can grow offensively which im pretty sure he can i dont see the problem.

at this point we wont get much for him anyway and he is on low wages.

I think we shouldn't sell Juan yet, he's still very young for a defender, one bad season while the team is in complete disarray, having to play for the first time in his career at Inter in a 4-man, changing coaches, etc. is not enough justification to sell him. We need to give him a little more time, he's still one of the best tacklers in Serie A.

That being said it does worries me that his positioning and tactical awareness that have always been his weaknesses haven't improved at all and in fact he regressed this season. Still, we can afford to give him one more season at least.

Racism has happened in our football so occasionally it's even fun you've mentioned it. The only victim over the last years must've been Roberto Carlos. There are much more scandals in England or Italy.
The same's with wages - there were a couple of teams which eventually went bankrupt and in some cases the wages weren't paid, but it's not a tendency - Spartak, Dinamo, Zenit all have shitloads of money since they're all owned by our Forbes top-20 entries. Otherwise they wouldn't constantly splash cash on players like Zenit did on Hulk and Witsel (the pair together cost them 100 mil.). So get your facts straight.

Miranda doesn't improve our defense all that much, and we still are a €40M WF/SS and a great FB from challenging for Scudetto.

That is also because ever since he arrived, none of our coaches really put any efforts in building a strong defence unit. Mostly just put players in their formation and let them play. JJ was a raw player when he arrives and he is still raw. He definitely needs a guidance in regards to tactics and teamwork. This is the tough challenge for Mancini.
