I have been happy with the players who we have brought in these last 2 years and for that i do not want either Ausilio or Zanetti or Bolingbroke to go.Ausilio also had the good sense in ensuring Mancini doesn't saddle us with clearly past it players with long contracts.

Infact the Icardi shenanigans we have had to deal with are because Suning do not want to sell him at any price and he has definitely destabilized the dressing room this season.Ausilio and Zanetti have been firm with Icardi and the leniency has been from Sunings end.I also do not share some of the optimism that many of you have for Chinese businessmen.Suning should have had a coach on the bench for the game tomorrow and taking a week after firing a coach to get a new one is definitely not good behaviour. They are making quite a few errors imo and hopefully they have learnt their lesson already.

Marcelino is definitely a bigger name than Pioli and it is a possibility our mgmt believes we need a bigger personality to keep our dressing room motivated than Pioli.Him being a Latin coach also makes him far more suitable for the job than a Dutchman because he will understand the Italian mentality far quicker than De Boer.Infact we have already seen his team being far superior in the EL to the Italians they faced. The omens are good but with Inter never say never to a fuck up.We can definitely screw up Marcelino's coaching career up like we have temporarily done with De Boers.

Inter are expected to make a decision on their new Coach on Sunday, as it’s between Marcelino and Gianfranco Zola.

According to the latest reports, the Chinese owners were not too impressed by ex-Lazio boss Stefano Pioli, as they do not consider him a strong enough name to lead the side.

There was a meeting with Marcelino last night at dinner, then another today, but the morning saw a surprise encounter with Zola.

Although Zola’s management experience is minimal, he is famous in China from his time at Chelsea in the Premier League.

“Suning are seeking a Coach with an international profile and the Italian ‘soul’ of the club want an Italian,” explained Sky Sport Italia reporter Massimo Marianella.

“Therefore, Zola would tick both boxes. I spoke to him by phone this afternoon and he said the Chinese side of Inter is pushing for him.

“In his previous experiences, he was well-loved by the players and tried to show some good football. He’d also act as a glue keeping everyone together in such a difficult moment.”

The latest reports continue to suggest Marcelino is the favourite due to his time at Villarreal, but he has never worked outside of Spain.

It’s believed the Suning Group representatives will fly back to Nanjing on Sunday evening, so the new Coach will have to be decided within the next 24 hours.

Rai Sport suggest Marcelino will remain in Milan tomorrow, but won’t be at San Siro for the game with Crotone.

In Spain, SuperDeporte are confident Marcelino will be appointed tonight.
Pioli must have really fucked it up in his interview to make Chinese rating Zola higher than him. There's no other logical explanation.

how did zola even come to contention bro I said it and I will say it again some members in FIF excluding me would be better coaches than this clown this guy was a good player but he has zero profile other than failure and relegation battle these two come to mind everytime I hear his name. If they wanted a random coach who has profile but sucks atleast get di matteo dude sucks but won the cl what did zola do? fail in the qatari league, Zenga and Zola are terrible.

Great thanks for your support...

I propose a

Icardi-GabiGol/Eder/JoJo
Banega
Ansaldi-Mario-Brozo-Candreva
Muri-Miranda-Medel
Handa

Or a

Perisic-Icardi-Gabriel.B
Ansaldi-Mario-Brozo-Candreva
3X M
Handa

Yeah I know it's a 3 man df and it isn't my favorite formation but our FB's are weak as fuck atm
You won't ever see Nagatomo,D'Ambro,Melo,Frog and Biabia in important matches

I will ask for a quality CB,Darmian,Hector and Kampl or Tolisso in January

Icardi
Perisic-Banega-Candreva
Mario-Kampl/Tolisso
Hector-newCB-Miranda-Darmian
Handa

Would be awesome...for me

Thoughts FIF?!

GdS says that we will announce the new coach before the game tomorrow

Premium Sport says that Marcelino has more people around him today and more luggage with him
Indication of a longer stay in Milano...they put it

Three man defence while I hate it is not a bad idea its sometimes necessary because when you have bad fullbacks like in our case using 3 defenders and Wingbacks track back so when we defend its 5 players and we get to pack the midfield it does work also if you execute the formation correctly spaces will be tight. Tolisso is good and my friend recommends Süle also nagatomo while he is a turd is much more suited to the 3-5-2 formation this dude is a wingback he can position himself well but he sucks. I remember I suggested that vs juventus to limit their midfielders and at the same time keep the spaces limited between our cbs .

I have no doubt I'll probably stop watching Inter for the rest of the season if we hire Gianfranco Zola, what the fuck.

This decision, regardless of which coach is selected (Zola or Marce) will turn us into relegation battlers. Zola is a shit coach and until this weekend, I had never heard of Marce. Once this hire has been made, the team will continue doing 5/8s of fuck all, nothing will change, the team will be in free fall and there will be a third sacking this season.

Who cares about international profile or Italian soul, just hire the best manager.

I doubt it with marcelino cuz if there is any coach available atm (any big coach is already employed) that has a specific identity and can create a team that can compete its marcelino because he did that with villareal from liga B to La liga and even went to the cl and semifinals of europa league his the third best coach in spain last year, he even suits us because he plays defensive football and knows how to make his team defend well and oh boy we really need that. With zola we will get 16th or 17th place maybe even relegation its what he knows best.

True they are trying to win Italian hearts and the italians still mock them atleast the media. And what italian hearts can u win with zola seriously?

Yeah to some extent when I saw them he played 4-4-2 and one time a 4-1-4-1 i think he prefers the defensive hard working type I bet he would play icardi and eder if he becomes our coach but his team was really organized, didn't have many shots on goal but scored.

Exactly! He likes 4-4-2. Actually that 4-1-4-1 or what a fuck this is was a exception.
I agree with you. Probably Eder with Icardi. I am curios what kind of midfield will use. We don't have a proper DM. Medel and Melo are retarded. I wish to see if a midfield of Perisic-Mario-Banega-Candreva will work. Could be interesting going forward but without a decent DM defense will be caught with the pants down. More likely J.Mario as lateral midfielder with Banega, Medel covering the defense and one of Perisic or Candreva.

In a few words his style is quite similar with Simeone or Mou with Porto. Compact team, you could say rigid, very few mistakes, posession less than 50%, direct style. Villareal was pretty impressive for their shit roster but Marcelino is a good coach.

True but again I don't watch villareal that much but my friend is a huge la liga fan so I watch these matches with him at times. From what I saw he used 4-1-4-1 once only but the 4-4-2 was common. It depends on the match I guess sometimes medel will play and sometimes no but if he implements the tactics I saw I think medel will most likely start and eder will partner icardi. Yeah he is similar to simeone but less attacking and more efficient I would say they scored but had way less shots on target then anyone else, what I noticed in their team is how they pass it looks really complicated but its really simple they create spaces and directly take the chances they don't try to overdo it pass somemore very efficent like I said earlier. Yeah he is he can build from the ground up I think after seeing today's video of the journalists stalking him literally he will join us. Btw the 4-1-4-1 gives us the option of fielding banega mario and at the same time medel can be our kante hahaha. I hope he is the right pick for us not short term but long term.
