I like how we might finally play with 2 up front, but the lack of shots and scoring chances Villarreal created is worrysome. Marcelino is known for his defensive tactics, but our defensive players are such garbage. Is this going to be lets hope for 1-0 wins ala Mancini all over again while creating very little in the offensive game? Ugh so frustrating. Contract till 2019 also is typical inter. I really hope the best for whoever comes in.

He looks very friendly

Why the yao though? It was a retarded list after all. No coherent selection process and some of the candidates then (and now) were/are laughable.

the yao because the list now is more laughable

No this guy while he plays defensive football focuses in the attack as well they press and score from less chances than other teams. Mancini football was all defensive zero attacking ideas (you can tell instead of amending his plan he said we will get another striker "eder" to score more) + our defence was handanovic making those unbelievable saves! yeah our fullbacks suck balls.

Exactly! He likes 4-4-2. Actually that 4-1-4-1 or what a fuck this is was a exception.
I agree with you. Probably Eder with Icardi. I am curios what kind of midfield will use. We don't have a proper DM. Medel and Melo are retarded. I wish to see if a midfield of Perisic-Mario-Banega-Candreva will work. Could be interesting going forward but without a decent DM defense will be caught with the pants down. More likely J.Mario as lateral midfielder with Banega, Medel covering the defense and one of Perisic or Candreva.

In a few words his style is quite similar with Simeone or Mou with Porto. Compact team, you could say rigid, very few mistakes, posession less than 50%, direct style. Villareal was pretty impressive for their shit roster but Marcelino is a good coach.

He had a typical Spanish DM in Bruno Soriano who was a key player for him. We unfortunately miss a player like him or Atletico's Gabi. I think in other positions (except fullback) we have good players for his 4-4-2 especially that we have 4 second strikers in Gabriel, Jojo, Eder and Palacio.

Apart from the 3 we already know(Marcelino, Pioli and Zola) we could have a last minute surprise with another coach. That coach could be Marco Silva, former coach of Estoril, Sporting and Olympiacos. It seems he's a candidate that pleases all parties. Both Suning, Kia and Italian leadership(Ausilio, Zanetti, Gardini) like him. In Portugal, he was considered new Mourinho(one of the many). He has declined many offers waiting for Inter. He was close to Inter in August but our management preferred FdB. Though the other 3 are still considered ahead of him. There's no favourite right now.
I know Silva well from his spell at Olympiacos. He plays 4-2-3-1 and on rare occasions 4-3-3. He started the season really well but after the winter break his team's form decreased a lot. He looked like a good tactician in a hilariously weak league though. He had a bad relationship with the Argies, especially with Cambiasso. So i don't know how he could deal with Inter's dressing room.

According to Di Marzio, both Kia and the Italian leadership are in favour of an Italian solution. Kia wants Zola while the Italian trio wants Pioli. It seems Marcelino isn't Kia's choice. He just prefers him over Pioli.

Seriously, most decisions done by Suning are there to fatten the pockets of Kia Joorbfuckface.

Since you seem to know much about the Chinese in general, what is it they want to achieve by these changes?

The best coach available for Inter? It's obvious that Zola and Pioli aren't their choices from the start

With pioli I agree but it s reported that Zola is their and Kia s idea!
Anyway the good thing is that i like the idea of marcelino and it does not really matter whose idea it was.
On the other hand i think the chinese have not really handled the situation very well and the fact that kia seems to have a bigger influence on them then JZ is worrying to me.
